Bring our Tarzan back!! We need shows that are different w/ new stories not only based on teens lives...

Tarzan is the best show the WB has ever had. And they need to bring it off of hiatus and return it to production status. Travis Fimmel and Sarah Wayne Callies as John (Tarzan) and Sarah as Jane light up the screen with their chemistry.

In 1955 my father took me to a theatre in Atlanta that showed old movies, there I saw Tarzan for the first time: Buster Crab. Next came Weissmuller and O'Sullivan. Then Chris Lambert. Scattered around in time was also Ron Eli and numerous other actors. In October 2003 I happened upon the WB's Tarzan. This series brought up all the feelings and memories of 50 years of admiration for Edgar Rice Burrough's Ape Man, and reminded me of the time I first went home with my fella to meet his folks. His dad asked him to help nail some boards up in the rafters of their new boat house. My fella took a hammer, thrust into the waistband of his cut-off's, lept up and grabbed hold of a beam, flipped over it and landed, then flipped over backwards, hung upside down and nailed some nails where his dad pointed. His dad looked over at me standing there with my mouth hanging open and said, That's my son the monkey! Did I mention my fella was a medalled gymnastic competitor??? Anyway, when we returned back to Gainesville, I proposed, he accepted, and here we are 26 years later still Tarzan and Jane'ing it together. We both thoroughly enjoyed this series---me from an emotional level and him from an admiration of Fimmel's prowess at acrobatics and action physicality. Here's hoping the execs at the WB and Time Warner see how badly they've erred and bring it back into production.

I`ve read all the books, this is a let down.

I absolutely love this show. Of course, Travis is very good looking but that's not the only reason why I like the show. It's very intense and suspenseful.. each episode leaves me wanting more. The storyline is amazing, I love the drama and the surprises in this show. I was very surprised to turn on my tv the other week to see a Christina Agularia concert in place of Tarzan. I only thought it was going to be gone for one week, but when I saw it wasn't on again I had to go online to see what was going on. Tarzan is a great show - I know many people who watch and enjoy it. Please bring it back, WB! Give it some time - the ratings will go up. It also does not have the best timeslot. Just some ideas, but Tarzan is a great show and it'd be awesome to have it back no matter what time it played.

This is one of the few shows that I make sure Never to miss,I hope it is given the chance to prove itself - Travis Fimmel is the best thing to come to TV since color...

I love tarzan

I am a very busy 38 year old mother of two. I do not get many chances to relax and unwind. Television basically, does not thrill me, although I watch 3 WB series faithfully. In the past, after a long, hectic week and weekend, there was nothing I looked forward to more, than to hurry and get dinner cleaned up so that I could finally sit down (for two whole hours)and escape to different places with Charmed and Angel. After they moved Angel to Wednesday nights, I was alittle pieved, but extremely overjoyed that the show got picked up again. So, I was down to only one hour to escape on Sunday evenings (which was better than nothing!) Tarzan came along and I was thrilled once again and was hopeful to regain some of my much needed duty-free oblivion. I was skeptical at first to see where they could possibly take the show that hasn't been done a zillion times before, and was pleasantly suprised. After the first few episodes, I thought that the basic concept was as original as they could make it and all of the characters fit so well together. What a relief! YES, I thought, Back to awesome Sunday night television! Now the show is on hiatis-I just can't believe it. You would think that after putting so much time, effort and money into a show that The Powers That Be would give it alittle more time to prove its self. Hasn't the WB learned its lesson with Angel? A show does not have to have huge ratings and constantly be on everyones lips to be a great show and to have a decent following. I have been keeping updated on all that the loyal watchers of Tarzan have been doing to prove the shows worthiness, and I hope it works. I have done my part and all I can do is wait and hope. Tarzan made me look forward to Sunday nights. Without it, Sundays are just blah. It is such an original and intrieging show, with action, romance, humor, and great actors. I pray that it is not cancelled!

I love this modern twist on the story of Tarzan. It actually makes you think about things like morals, right and wrong, good and bad. I just wish they'd let it stick around a while longer.

I was thrilled to find a show that a 30 something woman could watch and be interested in. Tarzan is a great show and a good change from teen dramas.

Tarzan on the WB is great. I have been a Tarzan for more years that I am willing to admit. Travis is the best Tarzan yet ! I don't care wether he is swinging from a vine or a cable wire...he is impressive. He and Jane ( Sarah)have great chemistry, you can almost feel the tension thru the screen. Don't be stupid and cancel a series with 2 lead actors as great as Travis and Sarah...give us a full season !!

I like Tarzan because, unlike many shows, it is not all about high school, drugs and who's dating who, etc. It is a suspenseful, funny, and touching drama that really keeps me on the edge of my seat the whole time I'm watching it. The actors are really in touch with the characters they play, and the chemistry between them is awesome. It is a breath of fresh air. Tarzan has a much better, nicer quality than so many other shows out there that are still on the air, and I just don't feel that it's fair to cancel it so early on.

This show is GREAT!! It has everything. Action, Romance, Humor and of course the sexiest star on PLANET EARTH!! Save Tarzan!!

Tarzan is the best new show to come along in years. The casting for each role is right on target and Travis is superb in his modern role of the noble savage. I haven't felt this passionate about a show...well ever. The action scenes are mesmerizing and the chemistry between Tarzan and Jane is palatable. All of the supporting cast is stellar as well!

I love this show and look forward to Sunday night....I've never really looked forward to the end of the weekend, but seeing Tarzan Sunday night makes it worth it. Save Tarzan!!!

WB needs to listen to Tarzan's fans-see the feedback on their website and over 18,000 votes on savemyshow.com! It's the best show I have seen in a long time and should be given a full season! Travis Fimmel is an excellent actor, can convey a range of emotions with just one look. He should be making movies!! The rest of the cast and and the story line are superb-very creative writing. If WB doesn't keep Tarzan, they are going to lose alot of fans and respect for their programming decisions.

How can you even think about cancelling this? Romance, and chivalry in modern times? It's what we live for! The actors, and storyline can't be outdone. It allows us to escape our everyday lives, and enjoy an hour of bliss. Don't cancel please!!!!

Tarzan is my favorite show off all time. It has every element of quality entertainment - romance, suspense, intrigue, mystique, drama, conflict, moral messages - all rolled into one. The storylines are superb and have SO much left to tell as this story has only begun to be told. The adaptation to modernize the story was done brilliantly - with the clash of urban NYC vs. Tarzan's rearing in the jungle (though they are both 'jungles' too). The ever-growing emotion between Tarzan and Jane is spectacular to watch build show to show. The acting is top-notch, the casting was genius, the major plots are captivating, the chemistry between Tarzan and Jane is spell-binding. I could go on and on. All I can say is, if this show gets canceled, I will be very gun-shy of getting hooked on any other shows. It seems like as soon as I get hooked on a show, it gets canceled (e.g. Ally McBeal, Once & Again, soon-to-be-ending Friends, and now this). Maybe I'M the jinx here!! WB - Please listen to all the screaming Tarzan fans. The Nielsens are NOT accurate! Tarzan has a loyal fan base stronger and louder than any other show on your network. Please read the message boards, the web site hit numbers, the postcards, the e-mails, the Save Tarzan petitions, listen to the phone calls and voice mails. We are a very large and dedicated group of people and will follow the show to any night or time slot you want to put it in - AND tell everyone we know to watch too. Bring back Tarzan - PLEASE!

The only thing I would change is the night it's aired. It works for me but doesn't draw the crowds that the weeknight shows do.

Please keep Tarzan on the air! This is the only show I watch regularly. I love the unique storyline and the quality of the romance between John and Jane. Don't cancel it before it has even begun to gain popularity!

This show is not only a great way to spend the ending of a weekend, but it also motivates me to look forward to the work week with enthusiasm. I know it might be hard to believe that a show can do this, but it does for me. I love the actors, and actresses... they are all so very talented. Tarzan has all the elements of a great crime drama, great romance and a great corporate drama! Finally a show that is aimed at a different audience than teenagers!
