The stadium flat out sucks. Anyone who says its good is crazy. The places bathrooms smell like piss. I call it the Urinal because it smells like one.

Fantastic place to see a game if you don't need electronic gimmickry to keep your interest. Wrigley is green and graceful, and these days you're likely to catch an excellent pitching performance. Amenities in the bleachers are limited - bring sunscreen/ raingear/ etc - and only buy the dogs on the mid-level concourse, not the upper!
soxwon 01/28/2004
in all honesty this park is an outdoor URINAL, its fans are rude, the food is average, the lines to the bathrooms awful.
trafficstripes 09/29/2003
THE BEST place to watch baseball.
pabob 09/01/2003
The best park in the majors, period. When you see it on TV, you immediately recognize it. Obviously, it is the most distinctive stadium of any sports venue in America. It is not only the best stadium to view a baseball, but also the most festive. Whether this a positive or a negative, fans go the games to at Wrigley moreso for the social scene rather than to watch a baseball game. It has become fashionable, and I'm sue to die-hard Cubbies that not a good thing. Wrigley Field is Americana, and that's one of the biggest compliments that can be given.
saladdin69 08/11/2003
A dump that should be torn down. Outhouses would make better bathrooms.
TheFacts 07/17/2003
Has a charm, but not a good place to watch a ball game. Lots of obstructed views, no parking (unless you like being ripped off paying for it), a hassle to get to, pricy concessions that are not that good. Too cold for about half the season. I've seen more bad fan behavior there than at several other ballparks I've been to.
kevdog 06/23/2003
baseball heaven on earth. the promised land for true baseball fans...anyone who has actually been there will tell you so.
Moosekarloff 06/04/2003
A truly charming venue. A bona-fide oldtime ballpark that has aged well and provides sufficient amenities to the modern fan, who is generally spoiled and unrealistic in his/her expectations. One feels a baseball mysticism when sitting in this park. Food was only OK, but the stadium is well-located. Cubs fans are decent, well-behaved and long-suffering people and it's unlikely anyone's going to give you a hard time when you come here.
doughboy914 06/04/2003
The best by a mile. I've been to most, including Fenway, and Wrigley is quite simply the best. Nowhere else can a fan feel part of the action than in Wrigley's right field bleachers. An American treasure.
Former Bleacher Bum 05/21/2003
No doubt the Wrigley Field experience is second to none! It's just too bad that the 'original' Left Field Bleacher Bums are no longer chanting in unison as they did in the late 60's and early 70's. Having been an original member of that nationally acclaimed group, I'd be interested to link up with those that may have lived out that rare and exceptional experience during those glory years (68-74). Ron Groessle, Mike Murphy, Big Jim, Irving the toothless Frosty Malt vendor and Ronnie Woo-woo...what a bunch!!
dthomas42 05/04/2003
It's hard to describe Wrigley Field in words. The bleachers are a must experience. What makes it a great place to see a game? The stadium, bleacher bums, beer, the nieghborhood, Harry, and so many other things.
37102002 04/23/2003
A pure baseball field. Grass, no ads all over the place. Bleacher bums. Stadium in a neighborhood. What major league baseball is supposed to be about. Take down the tarp, Cubs management, so people across the street can see the game!!! Dont mess with tradition!!! Still wish they had only day games.
BassHawg 04/11/2003
Tradition like no other, but it definately needs a facelift.
jgswors 01/22/2003
a true pastime field...great to play their...great to take your kids their.....great to get drunk their

PAC BELL IS THE BEST PARK EVER!!!!!
BigBadTA 11/24/2002
I have personally been to wrigley and sat with the bleacher bums, and i have got to say, this is a great ballpark. Like fenway, it is great because of the historical feel it gives you while you are there. Second only to Fenway.
charliethetuna 02/08/2002
Wrigley Field is baseball, and I'm not from Chicago. There's no symmetry to the field, no dome, no carpet. This is baseball the way it was meant to be. The Cubs fans are also the ultimate in loyalty, especially the Bleacher Bums. Hey, they love their Cubbies, and even loved Harry Caray - now there's a mean feat. And, once in a blue moon, there's even some good baseball there.
PelicanCrew33 07/12/2001
There is absolutely NO better seat in baseball than the front row, in the bleachers, at Wrigley Field (Left Field Sucks!). I've been to Fenway, another fantastic stadium (8 stadiums down, 22 to go = priceless!), but it lacks the party atmospher I experienced at Wrigley. Watching Sammy run out, make that SPRINT out to his position and run along the warning track right in front of me and my friends was one the best baseball moments I've ever experienced! IF YOU SEE NO OTHER PARK IN YOUR LIFETIME, YOU MUST SEE THIS PARK AND SIT IN THE BLEACHERS! Buy your tickets well in advance... Cubs fans will pack the park every day game! SAVE FERRIS!
Zwinglee 07/10/2001
This is a nice place to drink beer and watch girls. Kind of a cool drinking place with a baseball problem.
jibman33 07/04/2001
If baseball is a religion, this is its church. No other ballpark carries so much tradition. This is the last venue that can sell out even when the team is in last place. I have never seen a game played here, but I hope to someday!
wracko 06/05/2001
Wrigley Field is without a doubt the most beautiful park in baseball and one of the greatest sports venues in the entire history of the world, and serves as one of baseball's last remaining links to its past glory. Wrigley has been called paradise, heaven on Earth, baseball's cathedral - but such descriptions still do not do it justice. It has no rival, nor will it ever.

O' SAY CAN YOU SEE , BY THE DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT...
Oppy187 04/04/2001
Obsvioulsy the best. Second to none, nothing compares to wathcing a game in the bleachers at the friendly confines. Or you can stand on Waveland and catch Sammy's blasts.
stewartm 03/22/2001
I was there on a Friday afternoon in June 1996 when the Cubs played the Padres. My friend and I walked up to the ticket window and got two tickets right behind the Cubs dugout. It was a very sunny day, we saw Harry Caray sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" in the 7th inning stretch. It was a gret day for baseball in a great park!!
windycity56 03/13/2001
Wrigley and Fenway Park! Nirvana! Camden Yarks is right up there, too.
lpoulain 02/03/2001
The Friendly Confines! Pure baseball.
jimmy2000 12/19/2000
sorry chicago - it's good, but fenway is the great granddaddy of them all
jedikn8t 12/19/2000
Good - but a far cry from Fenway
smurfette 10/04/2000
I saw my 1st major league game at Wrigley & it was a great experience. I loved it. Parking was the only thing that the feild was missing. There is not a parking lot for fans & it cost 10.00-20.00 to park. But even the very limited parking did not take away from the glory of Wrigley Field.
starbucks_junk ie 09/25/2000
As a Chicagoan, it is one hell of a ballpark. The seats are nice, the atmosphere is great, the consessions aren't half bad, but the only thing that sucks is the parking. I would always go back to this place to see a baseball game!
mjr@8949om 07/23/2000
It just FEELS like a ballpark.
bizdude 06/02/2000
The best, I've been to many other parks, but for true baseball fans Wrigley is heaven. Miles ahead of Fenway

most beautiful park in country and cozy can actually see the game
dalt533om 11/20/1999
The best ballpark in the country. Baseball the way it was meant to be.
nyyanksfan 11/19/1999
ok park. It has a great deal of History; however, very little of it is good! Change something..get a new park!
jkarz 11/08/1999
Simply the finest major league baseball has to offer. Technology free and not missed at all. This ballpark has timeless appeal. Ivy, sun and Old Style cannot be matched.
matr878om 11/06/1999
Nothing can ever top watching a live baseball game in stadiums such as Wrigley field, Fenway Park, or even the hallowed Yankee Stadium. The old-style feel almost transport you back in time to the early 20th century, when baseball was still just a game.
dspr460om 10/27/1999
Unquestionably the best park in baseball. Sorry, Fenway -- you're a close second.
PETE446et 10/27/1999
Best of the old original ball parks. The Friendly Confines!
Ruby 10/27/1999
Wrigley can't be topped: the old-time scoreboard, the throw it back Bleacher Bums, ivy walls, and seventh inning stretch! And then you've got SAMMY lighting it up on the field. I hope Kerry Wood comes back and the Cubbies do justice to their park next year...
JZAN121OM 10/26/1999
Wrigley has the best atmosphere
DSAY16OM 10/26/1999
Wrigley is alright if you go for atmosphere, but if you want to watch the game...
