Savage goes against the grain of the politically correct. Unlike the weak, spineless drivel we get from most hosts trying to get their rating, Savage lays it out there with total disregard and his rating climb. Whether you agree or disagree, you have to respect him.

There is a LOT of truth in his words. I consider him to be the best talk show host. Period.

Im dissapointed to see that almost everyone here finds him to be either a beloved PROPHET or a disgusting NAZI. Doesn't anyone just like the show? I listen to it for fun while at a boring job, and sometimes it makes me laugh. Other times, it is very repetitive and I grow tired of it.

Normally I don't care one way or another when it comes to right-wing radio hosts, but this man is one of the most heartless human beings I've ever heard. Michael Savage is not only a very entertaining radio-personality, he's also extremely funny and extremely knowledgeable. He tells it like it is without any regard for political correctness which is why he's so well loved by many of his devoted listeners, and so hated by others.

Michael Savage is the only voice of reason in this crazy world. Everyday I look forward to 5 p.m. so that I cna catch the best three hours of the day. After the show I'm always a little disappointed to hear him go.

Politics aside, when a radio host gets so worked up you fear he may suffer a stroke live on the radio, it's exciting. I do like it very much when he gets all worked up about terrorists and refers to them as insects, sub-humans and vermin.

Michael Savage deserves credit for being one of the biggest successes in jump on the bandwagon enterprises. The host's background is a veritable cornucopia of entrepreneurship. His former gig was peddling vitamins and supplements on the radio when that was the in thing to do. His interest in conservative talk radio was quite the surprise - he has no background in it, and the college degree he touts to back up his positions isn't for majoring in political science. The Michael Savage persona is simply a marketing tool and his show and books are all simply extensions of that, much the same way he sold vitamins to radio listeners. Listeners to his show who understand this will quickly assemble the pieces of the Michael Savage Show puzzle. His show was created for hot talk AM radio formats which exist specifically to push listener buttons and create buzz by polarizing audiences. The last name of his persona explains it all. His appearances on other media outlets are all essentially the same - to antagonize opposing guests, challenge disapproving audience members and callers with shocking insults, and to win attention from it. Unfortunately, true believers in the conservative movement need to look elsewhere for intelligent talk radio. Savage is the boorish guest who crashed the party, attempting to outdo every other guest with his look at me... pay attention to me... it's all about me. And don't you believe he truly adheres to the outrageous positions he espouses on his show. They are simply buttons to be pressed, and should progressive talk radio prove profitable, our enterprising host would have no trouble suddenly becoming born again. He's simply an actor playing a part.

Even if I sat on the same idealogical side of the fence his views land on, I'd still rate it the same because it's such awful radio!
