I have to give him a Terrible because, well he is just awful. I'll admit that he can be entertaining to listen to, but in the same way that freak shows are entertaining. You can only fully appreciate this sorta thing if you can see through his simplistic lies and distortions. Most of the time he has ultra-conservative guests on that either parrot his opinion or he parrots theirs. There is rarely a sighting of carefully reasoned and well-nuanced argument or discussion and more then ones share of emotionally heavy arguments that lack any substance. Edwin Meese will be on discussing the evils of the homosexual agenda and how they line up with the liberal agenda Sean will agree and make an emotional appeal to the sanctity of marraige and the future of children, without any deeper reasons for the relevancy of such matters to the topic at hand; then both Edwin and Sean will make glorious statements about Bush that sound like the North Korean press talking about Kim as our leader. While the entertainment may be high if your an informed liberal or a mindless conservative, the basis of the show is still misconceptions and propaganda acting as though it is legitimate news.

Sean Hannity's way of debating is truly unique. He presents his case using facts and common sense, while still standing strong. Hannity can also implement humor into his show in a manner where it's appropriate but still makes sense. The show is worth listening to. If your a conservative, you'll love this. If your liberal, give it a try.
dummydem 09/30/2004
Articulate, informative, highly researched and searing in his analysis, Sean is on fire. Raw, in-your-face facts. Encourages listeners to prove it to themselves (which I have done quite a bit to have the facts to share with others. Shows like this will save our fragile democracy. This man defines the Talk medium. I can't recommend the show enough. Leans to the right, honest and personal. Interesting mix of political talk, commentary and music/humor. Very listenable over longer periods of time. he is the best!
eekamouse 09/28/2004
Should have stuck to dishwashing in California, where his show only lasted 40 days.
drtaamc 09/28/2004
lies, mistruths, mischaracterizations, biased crap. Worse than O'Liely, If you can't argue without lying get off the air and talk into a mirror somewhere you narcissistic joke.
itasara 09/22/2004
Kind of repetitive at time, does hold my attention, however, sometimes a bit too one sided and emotionally based, but Hannity gives his honest opinion and the is a fun orator.
chubawumba 08/31/2004
Another total potato head
I_LOVE_TRUTH 08/29/2004
I find the show very factual in content. I love it when Sean uses recordings of the liberals to expose their emotional, but illogical and inconsistent reasoning.
zgore 08/26/2004
Good overall, but too much repeating of what is going on...

Great analysis and you don't have to wonder what his viewpoint is. Quite entertaining!

I try to listen to as much liberal radio as much as conservative, and have found that Hannity consistently gives me facts while others (on both sides of the scale) just whine and slant to whatever party they back. Granted he makes it known that he is conservative, any educated listener can form his or her own opinion by pulling out the facts, even if they contrast with his view on a particular subject. As for hanging up or interupting people, I have not come across a radio host who gives more air time to people with INTELLIGENT dissenting opinions. The day that any idiot is allowed to rant and rave without making a point will be the same day Jerry Springer hits the AM dial.

A true American, Why cant ALL Americans love this country this much!!
brassfemur2000 06/18/2004
Typical conservative chickenhawk, RNC talking point radio...great if that is what you like. Can't seem to get enough of people telling him what a great guy he is. This show is like eating peanut butter sandwiches everyday for lunch, the first week is not bad, but you get a little sick of it from then on. So Sean, didn't feel like serving in Mr. reagans military Huh?
amsurfer 06/16/2004
Excellent guests. Not afraid to air opposing opinions. Not exactly balanced, but makes a clear effort to give each side a voice.

Today I heard one of the greatest comebacks ever from Shawn Hannity on his radio show. Shawn was apparently talking with a journalist who had written a column badmouthing former President Reagen within days of his death, saying such things as he's probably turned a crispy brown by now. I could have strangled the guy for his unbelievable mean-spirited attitude. But I didn't have to because Shawn did it for me.....verbally. He laid into this guy like nothing I've ever heard and reduced him to a pile of smoldering liberal waste. An incredible job well done Shawn. You deserve a promotion of some sort just for this one great act of putting this loser in his place and defending one of our greatest presidents. You have my utmost respect. Way to go.

I was reading all the liberal puke who took the time from a PETA protest to post a thread. Liberals bring emotion and Conservatives bring fact. Flights to North Korea are cheap these days just remember to bring your chemical weapons suits. Hannity loves this country unlike you and your socialist cronnies.
Laneally 05/30/2004
He may be pathological liar, but at least he's a jerk! Nonsensical arguments and bullying without an ounce of reason or fact. How the hell did this moron get a talk show?
MysteryMan? 05/25/2004
If you guys wanna hear good talk radio, seek out 'The O'Franken Factor.' Otherwise, listen to Hannity. I listen to him just to remind me of how a pinhead is supposed to sound. Only, I can't take that that nasal-ly shrill for more than a couple of minutes.
maersk 05/20/2004
hannity is a pustule on the a$$ of america.

Sean Hannity is a radio talk show host whose daily words are in complete conflict with his oft stated beliefs. Hannity portrays himself as a patriot of the first order. Unfortunately, his politics trumps his patriotism every single time! Hannity has been taking numerous shots at the 9-11 Commission. He's said that the 9-11 Commission is a waste of time and taxpayers' money. And he says that the 9-11 Commission has been politicized and should be disbanded. Now, why would Hannity say all these things? That's a very good question since even Condi Rice acknowledged that there are systemic problems within government departments and agencies which need to be identified and changed to make the USA safer. This can only be accomplished by an outside commission that has no allegiance to any governmental agency. So why DOES Hannity say these things? The answer is simple. Hannity anticipates at least some criticism toward the Bush Administration when the Commission's report is released in July 04. That should not be a surprise to anyone because there will be enough criticism and fault for multiple administrations and agencies. But when push comes to shove, Hannity's first priority is not to support something that would make the USA safer. Hannity's first priority is to protect the Bush administration from any, and all, criticism. And I don't see anything patriotic about that at all.

Just another lying hatemonger.
GypsyGirl 04/26/2004
I've tried to listen to Hannity but he seems to twist the facts and raises his voice too much.
AL Holmes 04/18/2004
All Mr Hannity does, is complain about Clinton and spin subjects to his own way of thinking. He may not know it, but he is a dectateor in the worst way. Mr Hannity, for someone that goes to church as you say, you sure can gossip. And you do hack your book all the time, even if you say you do not. You are a trouble maker even if you know it or not. THINK ABOUT IT
Saberpia 04/17/2004
This is insanity man.
eddill 04/15/2004
I may dislike him even more than Rush and The Factor Man....Why? Because he not only spins conservative nonsense but is smug about it. Do these right wingers EVER let anyone who disagrees with them talk?
Woody831 04/12/2004
Hannity is very accurate and entertaining

This guy has his nose shoved so far up George W. Bush's rear end that I'm surprised that he doesn't sound more muffled when speaking. Ah, the wonder of modern audio technology.
kglafond 03/15/2004
Sticks to the FACTS - something that's not always popular among those who deal in emotion and ignore facts. Go ahead - listen and try to prove him wrong.
CastleBee 01/17/2004
I'm kind of torn with this one. On the up side, he can be funny, personable, appears to be sincere and is milder and easier to listen to than Limbaugh or Boortz. HOWEVER, when he debates someone on the phone or in his studio he too often lapses into insults and will simply not let them complete a sentence (unless they're famous). I find that not only completely unfair but also extremely annoying. Not to mention the fact that it accomplishes absolutely nada. But, it does do one thing - it keeps enough people on both sides of the political fued stirred up enough to make them want to tune in and accomplish his personal goal - to remain on the air.
Phil Chapman 01/12/2004
She stinks
Royersford 12/26/2003
BORING!!! Sean Hannity has absolutly nothing new to say. Rehashing the conservative party line has been done (Rush).
Boonta23 11/22/2003
I like Sean Hannity, I like his radio show and the TV show he has on FNC too. His right-wing comments lighten my heart, and being a conservative myself, I agree with the comments he makes. Keep up the good work Sean.
davboz 10/25/2003
Needs to be his own man.Always follows blindly the party line.
