For all those defending Clay against the idiots who frequent this board: The problem is, people of this ilk don't care whether it is true or not. They are just trying to destroy his clean image and take the attention away from their own questionable manhood!

Though he's a nice guy, and is better than the typical pop artist, I just don't care for any of his music.

Clay Aiken is the greatest singer and humanitarian to come along in a very long time! Anyone who is not touched by his working as a teacher with autistic children has a cold heart. I was young but remember when the Beatles came on the scene and Clay has the same star quality they possessed. If someone does not want to listen to him then don't, just shut up and change the channel because nobody is forcing you to. There are enough sold out tours (I've been there!)to show that there are tons of fans who love Clay for himself and they are in the majority. That's what makes America great-listen to what you want to.

Everyone who gave him 1 star ought to be given a medal. I liken his music to screech owls and howler monkeys. The only thing nobody seems to mention is just how butt-ugly he is.

In this world there are positive people & unfortunately, there are also the negative. Thank God Clay Aiken is one of the most positive out there & all those who see his light should remain so as well. Take a page out of Clay's book of life & just ignore the haters. Concentrate on the beauty life has to offer & what you can personally do to help others. I don't know who many of the people are who are leaving comments about Clay here, but I do know that they must not be listening to the same guy I listen to. He is talented and has a lot to offer. He has and is growing as a performer and will be here long after many other pushed on us artists have left the scene. Sorry so many have nothing good to say. Original Post: Not only is Clay a horrid singer, but a scumbag as well. People that praise this jerk for his high moral standards are idiots. While rehearsing with his backup choir from a local school, Aiken allegedly berated the kids, deprived them of a timely feeding, banned a teacher from the rehearsal venue, and then presented the school with a fake check for their efforts. I was so disappointed that Karen from the Will and Grace show was not included in the TV special Christmas Show DVD. What an insult. I rushed out to buy it mostly because of her song and because my husband was out of the country and missed it. I wanted him to see her sing.

I have seen clay in concert with my wife and although I am not a fan I do have to say that I enjoyed the show. He has an excellent voice and he interacts well with the audience which I found refreshing.

Here is a man who has completed 2 1/2 tours at this time. Who completed his college education, founded a foundation for children with special needs, opened camp Gonzo, has graced the covers of many major magazines, has written a book, has given of his time and talent to numerous charities and is spokesman for Arthur book read by many major stars with proceeds to 3 charities. He has been on every major night time and day time talk show and the shows are often repeated. Disney appreciates his talents has done a number of projects with him and has even promoted his tour for the first tour ever. He sets a great example for young and old that you don't have to be like everyone else to be appreciated. This all has been done in the last year and a half. He will tell you, he is a nerd and always will be and it is alright to be different. Follow your dreams don't be afraid to show your love of god and set the example that you never will have to apologize for. He sings like no one else out there right now and continues to grow as a performer and has been recognized by well established song writers as a singer who sings from the heart and that they expect to be around for a very long time and has fans that any performer would envy. What is really great is when he sings Mary did You Know Wow and to be able to do a Disney song. Clay is here to stay.. Wow, did anyone check out the handprints auction. His involvement in charities, including his own Bubel/Aiken Foundation for children with special needs, makes him the whole package. After seeing him in concert this sring and summer and looking forward to his xmas tour I must say I am more of a fan than ever. I love his first CD Measure of a Man and cont to listen to it all the time with my other faves.(also have all his preAI2 stuff done live and on demo) I will never tire of CLay. I so look forward to lots more of Clay in the future. The best ever for me. What a guy! what a talent! Many of you do not like his style to each his own but us Clay fans we are diehards like the deadheads. Sorry to those of you who do not like him but he will be around for quite a while. He has a lot of fans, way more than 30 LOL and we are lovin' him and are devoted. He is The Voice and we are hooked.

Only those who have not really listened to the CD, or those who have not seen him perform live, or those that have a hidden agenda would rate this CD low.
