I too wonder about some of his predictions, but we are to live each day as if it is our last. Prophecy is as tricky as the weather and more so. Is America headed for the brink? Yes, but the faithful are the salt of the earth and act as a preservative. Who knows how many times God has held back his wrath just at the last minute, because someone prayed and touched Him? We should already be under water due to Global Warming! I feel he does use fear to try to get converts, but the goodness of God lead me to repentance!

Satan can quote the bible, that doesn't make him a fit representative for God. Political propoganda disguised as Christianity. Any time a man puts "DR" in front of his name, you can bet he reveres the calling of men , not the calling of God. The great apostacy is in our midst...........
40carats 04/02/2006
Dr. Jack spends half his program demonstrating all the verses hes memorized. What's the purpose? Is he just showing off? Jack likes to sensationalize the 'last days' from newspaper headlines. That's fine. I would much rather he offered some good bible teaching. He has also predicted the return date of Jesus in the past. He should know better. And finally, he should answer email questions. I sent several but got no reply. He must be busy memorizing and making more 'last days' videos.
Public_NewSens e 03/16/2006
Interesting. By their comments, you can really tell who, here, knows the Word of God and follows it--*You will know them by their fruits*. The Bible warns against speaking ill of a man of God.
DarrenGJohnson 03/14/2006
It is amazing to me how someone can quote so much and know so little, especially about the message of Jesus and Paul. Jack is a so called Christian Zionist and their message misses the message of Jesus. If people could get this about Jesus it would fix most of their bad theology and that is that Jesus was Israel's true represenative and reconstituted Israel in himself. Van Impe rants against replacement theology and then tries to make a straw man out of the doctrine and in so doing misses the point. The point is that all of the promises to Abraham and David and the prophets were fulfilled in Jesus. That is why Paul says in 2 Corinthians 1:20 "all of the promises of God are in him yes and amen" and in Galatians 3:19 "they that have put on Christ are Abraham's seed and heirs of the promise." The point is that they that are in Jesus are the true people of God. It is Jesus who is chosen and to be in him is to be chosen. Jack totally misses this and as a result misses the major message of the New Testament.
Petercephas 03/12/2006
The only thing good about Van Impe is that he has become an apologist for the Catholic Church. This is a guy that used to teach that the Pope (JP II at the time) or a future Pope was going to be the Anti-Christ! What a whack job! Him and his ra ra girl wife ("That's right Jack, yes friends, Jack is right again!)really are, as one poster has said, a comedy team. What's not funny is that this guy claims to know 5000 Bible verses by heart, but doesn't know the meaning of most of them.
Zuma 02/24/2006
Wow... It is very Comedic watching this guy teach bible prophecy on TV! It's sad though that so many think they are getting fed by watching them though : ( ---------------------------------------------- Watching these two makes one wonder if they actually realize they are leading Christians to the AntiChrist? It almost seems like they are purposely leading people astray... I mean... anyone who has memorized as much scripture as he seems to have, really ought to know the truth, wouldn't ya think? But then again, only those with eyes to see and ears to hear can. - Who was Cain's wife? His sister? Who inhabited the land of Nod? - Did Eve eat an Apple or was it something else? (No mention of Apple) - What if the AntiChrist is actually Satan and not some guy possessed? - What does the Bible say Satan looks like? (doesn't have horns or red underwear) - What role has Satan always wanted to play? - What about Dinosaur bones? Where did they come from? - Is the USA mentioned in the Bible? - Why is belief in the Rapture so dangerous? - Why do so many TV Evangelists beg for money? - Does the House of Israel have more than just Judah in it? Have you known your whole life that there was more to God's Word than you'd been taught? Tired of not getting answers and told to "just believe?" Watch Shepherds Chapel at http://www.shepherdschapel.com for in depth book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter, line-by-line study of God's letter to you, the Bible... don't be deceived. Dale

He really knows his scripture and is a dedicated man of Jehovah God and His Son Jesus Christ. His prophetic interpretation of the Bible is in line with so many Holy Spirit filled prophets these days, and the news in the Middle East is being fulfilled in Bible prophecy asymptotically, that is, with breakneck speed.
Bill Shipley 01/03/2006
Regardless of when the world will end. Christ told us to always be ready. If a person is a true believer they know that not even Jesus knows when that DATE wil come. But God did not intend for us to be clueless as others have said Jack Van Impe is, Clueless? No, he is NOT clueless. He may have set some dates. Not sure why. But We can all be assured. The end of days is close. Bible prophesy and current events show us. The signs are clear. Having said that. What we should be doing is keeping a short account with God. Stay prayed up and stay in His will (God's) and be ever mindful of the urgent need to tell others about the wonderful saving power in the blood of Jesus Christ. No, we do not know when Christ will come. But we do know HE IS COMING. He told us he was. He told us to be ready.
djace 01/01/2006
A Godly person matching current events with Bible prophecy.
Wendy_L 11/03/2005
This guy has given out more dates for the end of the world than there are stars in the night sky! I recall back in late 90's he said the year 2004... No sorry, we all are still here Jack! So far all these dates he's given have come and gone but he still keeps giving out dates. He's as clueless as the rest of us when the REAL date is! BUT THEN AGAIN, ONLY GOD KNOWS!
mordachai 10/26/2005
jack is the only one who speaks the truth thats way people dont take in what he says only the the holy sprirt in a man can make you know when the truth has been told. also the rapture is in the bible come up is the term used and in the hebrew texts that means to be taken out of. peace to man kind love to all
Friend of Jesus 10/08/2005
I hope all the people commenting in a negative way on Jack Impe are doing it based on what Jack quotes from the Bible and not based on their own anti-Catholicism.
sfalconer 09/21/2005
If he keeps predicting the end of the world he might just get it right one of these days. I think he will get called home to hell before it happens but in a few thousand or million years he may be right so be prepared!
mrclm 08/29/2005
He'd get more stars if he'd quit using his wife on his show.
claradalton 08/22/2005
What a faithful man of God, take heed bretheren.
consultant 08/20/2005
he is great he is one of the most wanted man in our day he is so precious and important to the world today.
mikegrp 08/19/2005
I can't believe this guy has 3 stars.... The big question is, how much do they pay that announcer guy at the end of the show?
PlanetaryGear 07/19/2005
This guy is nuts to the tenth power, but I really get a kick out of watching him and his old lady hock their 'end times' merchandise (limited time only) under the very entertaining auspices of 'replacement theology' bashing. Not to be taken seriously, but man, is this crazy bastard fun to watch.
EDELMANN 06/10/2005
SOME CAN SAY WHAT THEY WANT , THIS GUY IS FOR REAL. I DONT AGREE ON EVERYTHING BUT IS IS AS RIGHT AS ONE CAN GET. HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE IS UNCANNY. AND HIS ZEAL IS FOR SOULS. THAT IS WHAT CHRIST IS ALL ABOUT.
tbunky 05/27/2005
Jack and his wife are great. they may be a little animated but they know their stuff. I've been watching his show for 3 years and he's never tried to give a date when the world as we know it would end. He's just letting folks know that it's going to be a great change. And yes, the Rapture is coming, if you made the right decision then I hope to see you there.
Philoah 05/18/2005
Jack is really something. A little background on Jack Van Impe. He was at one time Billy Graham's song-and-dance man at Graham's crusades. He claims to be a dispensationist, but I'm not so sure. It seem like he has concokted this escatological stew where he mixes in these scattered prophetic verses from the Bible and then mixes in what the Pope says and the Catholic magistarium says. And presto! We now have the truth according to Jack as the result of Bible verses and Catholic docrine. I cannot see how any knowledgeable Christian can take his show seriously. I only watch his show to see if Rexella got another face lift or got a new wig.
hereiamtakeme 04/30/2005
Jack and Rexella are the ones to watch if you want the Real News. End Times prophecy at its most entertaining. Jack has practically memorized the entire Bible, and it's fun to watch him quote verse after verse of scripture and get into etymologies as if he were a scholar instead of a crazy person. Oh, and the hair and make-up on both Jack & Rexella is scary.
JAMBONE 04/19/2005
This guy is Old School, not schtick outrageous, and not selling prayer cloths/miracle water, and for all that, I give him a 2. I don't really like his version of The Word, but when the cable goes out, much better than Arnold or Dennis Murray (Dennis Murray is actually the son of Sgt. Joe Friday...)
Teresa baby 03/31/2005
I watch him and Vanzal , I think they have the real deal.
dogpreacha 03/30/2005
see review of Hal Lindsey...except this guy is worse!
mstv 12/27/2004
He does well teaching the Bible and end times.
Beelzebub 11/02/2004
Loony!!!! Faker!!!!
fin_rave 10/04/2004
Great entertainment value. Love Rexella's unblinking stepford wife impersonation. Love the way Jack slaps, thumps, and shakes his...bible at the viewers (why does he still need a bible when he's memorized the whole damn thing anyway?)
TV Evangelist Buster 09/08/2004
Bible says ,Not even the Angels know the Hour,The Son of man shall return,I would think they will know before Jack Does though!Hes spent a Lifetime of trying to figure when! All he really needs to know is that He will !In the meantime as we all should do jack,Witness unto Jesus Our Lord and Saviour...
AryanDan 09/05/2004
Every TV Evangelists I ever saw, all support Israel. They all have the same talking points, and it ain't the bible. I suspect they are told what to say in order to stay on TV and cash their Israeli check. Christianty wasn't always like this, in fact, just fifty years ago and all before, it was the opposite. Why hasn't a single TV evilangleist ever supported the idea of a Christian Homeland? Is it because they work for an evil-angle, Satan?
DominicK 07/26/2004
Jack has been saying It's coming close Roxella for the last 35 years...Give it up Jack !!
larryjg 07/23/2004
Sad false prophet, word faith faker
comicsmama 07/07/2004
Love the GOOD NEWS he and his wife proclaim!
Mechanical 07/04/2004
This guy is a riot! I love the horror stories from the Holy Libel more than any movie. Revelations Revealed was entertaining as Hell... literally! Praise Jebus!
Delilah72 06/22/2004
I used to watch and support his television ministry when I was a wacky fundie, but if believers would listen carefully...with an opened mind...they would realize that he has changed his date of Christ's second coming from 2012 to 2018...since the last time I checked. He is just another doomsday preacher trying to scare the hell out of his blind followers.
bdragon2000 06/12/2004
Everything Jack Says is preceded by scripture. I like that.
jaypunkrawk 06/04/2004
kind of scares me, but i guess he's teaching a good message.
Centient 06/02/2004
A classic crazy. You gotta love him. Each episode plays like an audiobook of checkout line reading material. Gotta love a man who embraces other religions because they invariably lead to the destruction of all humanity. Should be the US Ambassador to Israel in the next Bush administration.
Habanerobuck 06/02/2004
You've seen one Jack van Impe episode, and you've seen them all. He used to be a solid, fundamental baptist evangelist, but he's changed. Seems to realize that many of his viewers are of a Catholic persuasion, and he definitely doesn't want to offend any potential purchasers of his products.
psalms 06/01/2004
Jack is one of the few Evagelists that have a true single minded ministry. He teaches the end times with a passion.
Little_Big_Voi ce 05/29/2004
Personable, articulate, and pleasent can best summerize Jack Van Impe and his wife. Some of his material can be way out there which in turn makes Jack interesting to watch which could explain in part as to why he attracts so many viewers. Although I do not lend much creedence to his material, I do find it refreshing that he does not format himself as just another run of the mill greedy tele-evangelist preacher in spite of his video and DVD pitches ah' la' Chuck. Never the less, it's quite obvious that he and his wife will have no concerns or worrys when it comes to paying the personal bills. Serious or not serious, it's quite a show to watch.
loveinchrist 05/13/2004
Extreme passion for the word of our Lord, great insight, always current, not always right- but always searching for the truth !!! Refreshing and full of love. God Bless & thank you !!!!!
jonahmc 05/07/2004
you guys realize the show is a joke, right? its supposed to be ironic. its meant to be a parody of apocolyptic preachers. he does all that on purpose, even down to the hair and the way they talk. its great, but i liked it better when i thought he was being genuine.
epidemic 04/30/2004
the idea that this man can year after year predict the same things which never come to pass is ridiculus.not only does he preach nonsence but he seems to truly believe hes right,he is whats wrong with the world.every bible god follower should be embarased of him,the pros dont even take the bible that trufully word for word
Jemiculus 04/25/2004
Sure, this guy peddles paranoia, but he does so with such a joyous expression on his face.
yisman 04/21/2004
Levitt sucks. Everyone else shines in comparison....even Falwell.
maggie043 04/20/2004
I watch JVI and I like him, but I'm concerned about his attraction to the Pope and the catholic church. They believe Muslims will go to Heaven. That is unbiblical,so I don't understand where he's coming from.
Bleh 04/20/2004
I just have one question for you people. What the F*CK is with the hair-do's? I mean, every one of these flakey con artists has a friggin fright wig. This guy's hair looks like it's made of fiberglass. Doesn't the inhalation of fiberglass particles over a number of years drive a person insane? It does! Ah, I see...that explains a lot.
