Though I do not claim to be an expert on Georgetown basketball, from my perspective Patrick Ewing started the string and tradition of Hoya centers. As a Tarheel, I will always look fondly on Ewing for goal tending several times at the start of the 1982 Championship Game, easily one of the best that was every played.

Georgetown has been fortunate to produce many quality bigmen, but Patrick Ewing is by far the best. He revolutionized the center position. He(along w/Hakeem) showed that centers good shoot jumpers.

Beats out Alonzo Mourning as best player on this list.
