The standard engine may be too weak, so usually a larger and more powerful engine is available. However, engines are usually only available in different model types. For example, you cannot get a V8 in a base model Mustang. You must pay the extra money for the GT model before you can get the V8. Options with vehicles is very confusing, always to the dealer's benefit.
