My experience at Limon didn't start out so well. We had a reservation for eight people and they sat us 40 minutes late. The food is good, but we were forced to do a prix fixe menu because of the size of our party. Limon is too small and it gets loud.

Cool little Peruvian restaurant in the heart of the Mission. The place immediately won me over by having Halibut in virtually all of its entrees. The ceviche was amazing, as was the halibut served over clams, calamari, scallops etc. I also learned that Peruvian beers Pilsen and Cristal taste almost exactly the same. The only thing that kept Limon from being a 5 star restaurant for me was the VOLUME. I don't know if it was due to the place being so small, or the fact that everyone seemed wasted in there, but it was so loud I could barely here what my date was saying to me. Anyway, Limon is worth a look.
