Carnation

Carnations are perennials whose flowers are generally pink. The horticultural name for a carnation is a dianthus - from the Greek words for god and flower.

Oh, but I love all Dianthus! Pinked edges, like the pinks, bbut maybe without the color variety of those Dianthus.
