Ranks up there with my best academic experiences including graduate school. Multiplication tables, planets in the solar system, and my first novel. I wasn't even close to being the same person because I loved it so much. As far as the sham of public school is concerned, it was my best year ever.

This was another tough year for me. I lost a lot of freinds and I was pretty disrespectful. I had some dumb thoughts like flying my own toy airplane from my elementary school to home. And I was a loner. And I keep doing a lot of other weird thoughts. And I kept repeating stuff from comics.

My teacher was this nasty old nun who was obviously counting the minutes until retirement. There were 50 kids in our class and we never learned anything because she couldn't control the little brats.

Third grade was kind of a mix for me. On the one hand, I hated my teacher. She got mad at me for accidentally wrinkling my scantron, forcing me to retake my test. She also accused my mother of not feeding me, which is, frankly, none of her business. (Of course, my mom feeds me! Come on, I have a great mom!) But, I did meet my best friend (who is STILL my best friend) then, along with some other people I would know for YEARS to come. PE was excellent too, as I got cheered on quite alot...
