 | Vudija (94) 08/14/2006 | There are 2 great things about 4th grade, for me anyway. First, it was well before everyone got into the mindset that appearance was more important than anything else, when people started allowing looks to dictate self-esteem. Second, it was the last year I lived in Texas. Being the Texas girl that I am, even though living in Florida now, I vividly remember everything about my 4th grade year as I try to keep some sense of home.

When you're in fourth grade, you're still that age when you don't have too many worries and you can be a carefree kid. But you're a little older than some of the kids in the elementary school, which means that you may be able to sleep later and have some other extra priviliges.

Most important is she was the type of teacher to fight for what was right for her students, even if it meant putting her job on the line.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (37) 10/02/2003 | With a nice teacher, plus a lot to learn from RLC (which I had been in since second grade) and more, fourth grade was great. Fun time was great, what can I say, fun. I learned alot and saw alot of Disney movies too. :)

She would put a stack of manila drawing paper near the window and when we were through doing various projects and assignments and turned them in, we were free to take a few sheets and draw. I loved to draw and this definately gave me the incentive I needed to get through the subjects I found less interesting. I also remember being put in charge of decorating one of the bulletin boards which I really enjoyed too. All in all, a pretty good year for me as I remember.

 | snlgirl (0) 07/29/2003 | I didn't like 4th grade. I was in the accelerated classes, so the work was hard. Also, I had one crazy teacher who cried all the time, and one teacher who always was mean to me, and asked me what was wrong with me on a daily basis. I did not like 4th grade!
