ItemImageSamson is often compared with Hercules of the Greek. He had enormous strength, even to the point of single handedly defeating whole armies with a donkey's jawbone as weapon. Betrayed by Delilah, Samson becomes prisoner of the Philistines but eventually, he repents for his disobedience of God and performs a spectacular act of revenge by destroying the building where the Philistines were gathered and killing them all.

He so needed to be a better judge of character. I like how human they made him, along with him being supernatural.

Typical example of the consequences of disobeying God. Samson was favored by God while he was faithful and obedient, but when he rebelled and did things his way, God punished him. Fortunately, Samson was able to repent and receive God's forgiveness even as he lost his life. A good lesson that God's forgiveness of our sins and rebellions is more important than even our lives.

The problem with Samson is he did not fully comprehend that God was with him. Samson was not strong because of his long hair. Samson was strong because God was with him.
