I know the Church wanted this movie banned, but anyone who watches it to the end will realize that this is about legitimate struggles of faith and the attempt to reconcile the calling of the priesthood with the realities of mortal life. The ending is one of the most powerful moments in film history.

There are many gay priests in the priesthood and the storyline was accurate in the issues raised.
