10/31/2004 | Ah yes, the old daily and Sunday comic sections. After reading news, weather, editorials, stocks, and advertisements (or maybe even before them), you're in need of some entertainment in that paper youre holding. Just keep searching the pages and you should only be inches away from the pictures you grew up with. Nowadays you'll find the return of Peanuts golden years, Garfield is still hanging in there, and Beetle is still serving us (or rather himself) after decades. Yep, new comics appear every now & then, so keep a look out for some new soon-to-be favorites such as Get Fuzzy and Jumpstart. As a reader & collector of the comic sections (Sundays only, even though the dailies are now in color), it's nice to know at least one section of the paper remains ageless.

09/14/2003 | Again, depends largely on the content (but I can skip those crappy Zippy comics, at least--what is up with the ugly polka-dotted mu-mu? That's rabbit-cage lining right there!). Would be nice if there were something new and fresh in there. Miss those Far Side comics . . .
