classic tv. even when the quality dropped off a few seasons ago, its still better than 98% of all other shows.

A brilliant show that I still find very very funny. Can't think of another show that has had such a good run, or that deserves to be on as long as the Simpsons has. I love the jokes and truly respect that they can make fun of anyone they want.

Who can argue with this one? I've grown up with it since I was 12. Now that I watch the old ones again it's like watching it again for the first time. There are so many hidden jokes and references that kids just will never get! Simpsons will stand the test of time!

Too funny. The humor is great. Homer is dumb and funny. If you rated it one you have a bad taste in funny. Nothing is better than the Simpsons. The animation and voice overs are the best! Oh and if you did rate it a one. Watch it again you fool.

Brilliant show. It is so creative how they mock and poke fun and pop culture and current events. And of course homer is hilarious!

Okay, okay, Family Guy, the Aqua Teens, Sea Lab... Ren and Stimpy, South Park, Beavis and Butthead... all great shows. Phenonenal. But the Simpsons... c'mon people. This is the one and only, the king, the Beatles of animated television. They've had some low moments (more recently) but the years and years of absolute brilliance just cannot be rivaled. Family Guy is one of the best shows ever but even it only lasted three seasons; Simpsons hadn't even come close to its peak by season three. It's the best.

Last Halloween the Simpsons implied that Peter from family guy was a watered down clone of Homer in the episode featuring the hammock with the power to duplicate people. Then they turn around and rip off an episode of FG by having a Halloween episode where Homer was the Grim Reaper. It's either irony or hypocracy. I can't decide.

I think The Simpsons has run its course. In the beginning, it was on the cutting edge of humorous social commentary, often upsetting more than a few parents and teachers - many of my friends were not allowed to watch it - but now I'm afraid they've run out of ideas and that it's time to close shop. The good jokes are not only starting to slide in quality, but they're also becoming fewer and farther between. It saddens me to say that The Simpsons' time is up.

Continues to get better. Great voice acting, colorful animation and good humor.
