I've had my destructos for almost 18 months, and they still work perfectly.I would recommend getting the hallows.I might get D2s or superlites(which one????)They are very lightweight, and grind very smoothly. The only thing I don't like are the bushings, I replace them with Bones soft(I'm 70 lbs, so yeah...)They have pretty cool graphics, but who cares? They(in my opinion) are way better than thunder.Everyone gets thunder, but I believe that thunders are way overpriced and heavy.Destructos will probably be my favorite brand of trucks for a long while. But what should I get, D2s or superlites?
jonnybanz 12/20/2008
they are pretty light and how long they last makes up for anything bad about them so HA!!!
isk8incircles 11/15/2008
to me destructos are like the little bro of the better trucks. they are not bad but do no have anything special about them but graphics.
SKATEBOARDErCo rey 10/20/2008
destructo trucks are realy good trucks but their just a little heavy but if you buy a board that has alot of pop like i do then destructos are pretty much the perfect truck if you like 2 ride balenced out like not 2 light or 2 heavy but right in the middle...
poopipants 09/28/2008
I really like mine
ZeroTillDeath 09/11/2008
i have destructos, NOT BAMs(is there even any difference?), they have a lifetime warranty(and they are the standard ones!). my trucks have a white hangar with a black baseplate, when i do 50-50s the paint doesnt peel like my friends thunders(but grapgics dont really matter so who really cares =s).btw can anyone tell me if there is a difference between standard, lopez, and BAM destructos besides the grapics? i know there is a difference with signature decks but is it the same with trucks? oh yea, another bad thing about destructos: you need to tighten them every 2 1/2 weeks for like 2 months, minor problem but still its annoying.
dansk8 07/10/2008
destructos are heavy!
erten 06/20/2008
don't listen to the people who say destructos are bad!
PLANaBc 06/11/2008
destructos are straight poop turds, they were alright before they started making them in china, now they just bend easily and they ALWAYS turn.. I'll just start pushing and the board will start trying to veer away from me every time.

the most light truck
funland 05/17/2008
destructos are light, grind great and very durable
TimRules3 05/15/2008
Best trucks ever! Element trucks are made by Destructo and thats what I use
SkaterDude7 05/12/2008
elementfolife is a poser he doesn't know what good trucks are and most of you should learn to spell these are good trucks who cares about gay graphics on the trucks when your gonna grind em up stevie williams is gay too
mhi 03/18/2008
I like everything about this truck as far as design and some of the model's magnesium baseplates. I do wish that the price were not so high on this truck since it doesn't have anything unusual like Tensor's sliders or Seismic's springs.
Elementfolife 12/18/2007
Stevie Williams ventures are so much better
skate4fun 11/27/2007
Destructo trucks suck! -they ALWAYS turn -they dont feel right I'v have descructo's twice. All my friends said they sucked. But I got them for cheap, and they are bad trucks. The worst thing is they AWLAYS turn, everyone I'v talked to had this problem. (anything is better than Descructo)
TtownSK8 10/25/2007
Plain-Jaine, no matter how pretty you make it by painting it. I'm let down by how the overall design has not changed all that much, with exception to Destructo's new "Rail Killer" series. When bought, they felt oddly skinny in regards to the hangar's radius and baseplate, and showed far too many kingpin threads when tightened (medium). Luckily though, the Destructo's entery level raw truck gives you lots of kingpin clearnace due to it's high axle. If you've read any of my other truck reviews, you'll see that I mention that these are not "heat-treated" like Indys/Ventures/or Krux. They do, as with Grind Kings, provide "smooth" and rather "softer" grinds, but this is simply because the aluminum's grade in the hangar is more *porous* than say an Independent; therefore lighter (less density). So when it comes to a truck's grinding longevity, they'll all far well when ground against smooth metal rails/copping, but rougher grinding terrain will eat these, as well as any other non heat-treated truck in a hurry. Also of note, and the tech skaters out there will attest to this, is that the Destructo's higher riding stance puts more distance in between your nose/tail from the ground, resulting in a more delayed response to ollie/nollie pop. If your ride wheels 52mm's and up, this can be of your advantage, but not if you wish to have a quicker pop and added carving performance. BOTTOM LINE: they're taller than most, very tough, axles stay put, come in many colors, have softer bushings, and grind well- albeit wearing out faster.

gett hem cause they slide not cause of BAM.uggg whata poser
weeman12 04/14/2007
i've been using destructos for 1 year now and they're still in good shape.
RAGDOLLPOONZ 01/30/2007
emerica rules what you said about destructos and how everyone that rides em has the BAM ones..thats not true...i hate bam hes sold out sooo much...and the ragdoll kiss trucks are wayy better...aswell as the Adrian Lopez ones to..
Blackfrancis07 08 10/15/2006
I'm riding the Adrian Lopez mid after being burned out on Tensors. Nothing fancy, but no surprises either. Unlike the Tensors, I don't have to check the busings after every trick attempt to see if they're still in place. A good solid truck. I replaced the bushings with Independent and they ride real solid.
Skaterrater19 09/15/2006
i got some destructo's, but they had axle slip, which sucked, they werent awful though
ihavenofrends8 07/25/2006
mine made squeaky sounds that annoyed the fuck out of me. they would grind smooth, and i didnt find them so extremely heavy. good trucks.
planB 07/14/2006

chewyi 05/06/2006

ive4gottenmyna me 01/17/2005

INDEPENDANT 12/08/2004
One of my Favorite trucks. By the way im usen them now
littlbit 11/07/2004
nice weight, very durable and have got a good reputation. a great all around pair of trucks
WildKard51 09/18/2004
How about those limited edition colored ultralights? Those look pretty sick but I've never skated on any Destructos before so I could be wrong. I was gonna get some of those but then I got some Silver Trucks instead. Those are REALLY nice. Lightweight and they come with screw-in axle protectors.
sutit 07/07/2004
destructos are the best
how high_676 04/07/2004
not too heavy but not too light trucks, there is nothing special about these trucks except for the semi-cool name.
