He'd be good if he weren't so selfish. I understand his desire to move the Democrats to the left, but if it gets the Republicans the White House, it hasn't helped.

I tend to agree with the Greens politically, but given our political system, having them in the presidential race only splits the progressive vote and ensures victory for the conservatives. They ought be working at the grassroots level, not playing "spoiler" because they're pissed at the Democrats for not adopting all their agenda. Don't they see that their desertion in 2000 gave the election to Bush?

God help us if this guy ever won a state in the electoral college.

I don't agree with all of his politics but I admire him for standing up for what he believes in. He is right about the fact that the Democrats and the Republicans are no different from one another as they both bow to the same special interests that control our government.
