Just pure heat, and no flavor. Or I should say next to no flavor. What little there was from the taste from the tip of the toothpick, it was like novacaine or medicinal. Good to heat up a pot of chili, I guess, but nothing to it flavorwise. This was unbelievably spicy and painful with even the tiniest possible amount from the sample the lady at the local Hot Sauce shop gave me. At around $100 a 1 ounce bottle, this is still an expensive way to add heat, even though it really will probably last a lifetime...

If you've tried this 'sauce,' there's probably something wrong with you. At 7+ million scoville, it's not meant to be used on foods but rather as an additive...and likely in the smallest of amounts. Still, it CAN be used for sure but is probably best for the crazy hot sauce collector. The other Original Juan sauces with less heat are the ones to try for flavor.

You can't beat Da Bomb's sauces for fire and taste. Well - almost can't beat...I make my own.
