09/07/2007 | Tis a fine insult and certainly has withstood the test of time. That said, "Twat" is by far the the most emasculating of the gendered put-downs. "Shut the f*ck up, you little twat". Roll that over the tongue a few times. Best said with a Boston accent.
The always priceless mystified look suggesting "What's a twat, Billy" is worth a thousand douchebags...

06/29/2007 | I agree with Ridgewalker that this is the current king among insults. It has become ubiquitous without seeming overworn (my favorite place to see the term being used well is www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com). It still seems funny in the way that a word like "poseur" was in the '80s or "wanker" in the '90s: both terms deflate the pretensions of the overly slick and overtly successful, usually men.
