 | GoinDownSlow (23) 09/07/2007 | Tis a fine insult and certainly has withstood the test of time. That said, "Twat" is by far the the most emasculating of the gendered put-downs. "Shut the f*ck up, you little twat". Roll that over the tongue a few times. Best said with a Boston accent.
The always priceless mystified look suggesting "What's a twat, Billy" is worth a thousand douchebags...

 | Broodinghen (12) 07/05/2007 | Yikes! If this is the current king of insults I'm for a new hype in favor of some other term, and for restricting it's use to people who behave as Ridgewalker describes.

 | Loerke (46) 06/29/2007 | I agree with Ridgewalker that this is the current king among insults. It has become ubiquitous without seeming overworn (my favorite place to see the term being used well is www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com). It still seems funny in the way that a word like "poseur" was in the '80s or "wanker" in the '90s: both terms deflate the pretensions of the overly slick and overtly successful, usually men.

 | Mad Hatter (37) 06/29/2007 | From a Family Guy episode, when President Douchebag was re-elected:
"The people have spoken and they want FOUR MORE YEARS OF DOUCHEBAG!"

 | Jed1000 (72) 06/29/2007 | My favorite use of the word is from the movie 'Revenge of The Nerds.'
Jock: Whatta you lookin' at, Nerd?
Booger: Well, I thought I was looking at my mother's old douchebag but that's back in Ohio.

 | texasyankee (21) 04/26/2005 | I would have a hard time calling someone this, since after I did, I would be blushing profusely.

 | middlefinger (4) 12/26/2004 | This name describes Dr. Condi Rice. She needs to use her talents to make this country a safer place instead of helping Bush to wipe his stupid ass.

 | Seraph (8) 11/17/2004 | The reigning king of all insulting names. I shorten it to douche but that's just me. As in, Col. Rhoden is the biggest douche I've ever met (and he is).

 | forgotten hero (13) 11/12/2003 | It isn't necessarily a guy thing. I've been called a douchebag by a few females.

 | kamylienne (77) 09/01/2003 | Hahahaha, well, it's at least unique (more so than the typical insults). (By the way: What's up with labelling the box DISPOSABLE Douche? As opposed to the kind you KEEP or something? Of COURSE it's disposable . . . alright, this ends my off-topic rant, sorry . . . )
