You can get drunk very quick when you take a shot everytime Anne makes a lame, scripted insult, or when a contestant makes lame reasons for voting or lame comebacks at Anne. The post-elimination interviews? Who cares?

Its an all or nothing quiz show. Anne Robinson asks a barrage of questions whilst contestants to struggle to eliminate who they deem to be the weakest link. Who will turn up trumps and win the cash prize?

it was ok but it had more to do with strategy than knowledge but you still had to have a little of it or your chances of getting voted off were greater. alot of people should have banked more often sometimes it was frustrating when they didnt and then they would miss their question

You Americans just don't get it!! Anne Robinson is playing a character in Weakest Link - I know I've been on the show (UK)!! She really is a lovely lady. Part of the reason and fun of watching WL is the put downs and remarks bu Anne!! The contestants ake it with a pinch of salt (over here anyway) and have a great day!!

That show was better when they had the mean lady as the host. When they took her off it became just another stupid game show.

What a terrible show! I used to like it, but now that host has really gotten to me. She is so mean and rude to the contestants that I don't think she should be on the air anymore. I do like the questions, though. Not too hard, not too easy.

A very good games shows it is one of my favorate game shows it is funny and the questions are not out of this world hard like some game shows.

"The Weakest Link" is the "weakest show" in all of television history. Total ennui!

I didn't mind the hour long version on NBC with Anne but the show got good with George. Definitely my favourite game show, it will be missed.

On behalf of all the people of the UK, I would like to apologise for giving the world this terrible, terrible show. One thing though, I've seen the US ones. They're better than the UK's ones. Imagine what ours must be like, and pity us. Anne's comments seem forced and scripted, and it is just an annoying show, with her grating voice, and the fact that she tries to wink, but she can't, so it ends up as a spasm, like she's having a stroke.

this show sucked. that girl that hosts it just PISSSES ME OFF! they shoulda put a mass murderer on it before he goes to jail so when she does her little joke and the sarcastic look he takes out a shotgun and kills her. he probably wouldnt go to jail cause he's doin everyone a favor and killing her.

I liked it a lot and wish Anne Robinson would come back. The guy who took her place in the afternoons is not funny to me.

I think the host is funny, but I really hate any show which involves "voting" people off the show.

Anne Robinson is quite possibly the most annoying person ever. She insults the contestants and calls them names, implying that they are stupid if they get an answer wrong. All of her "wit" isn't hers, it's scripted. She's nothing but a stupid bore who wouldn't have anything to say if it wasn't written for her. Rude, and awful--I have no idea how this show even made it to air. If British people accept her behavior and condone Anne's forked tongue comments, then they can have her. Obviously America has had their fill. I for one am very glad this ugly red headed big mouth is GONE!GOODBYE!

Thank goodness its gone and never to return I hope. This one was the worst, is this all that the networks exitives can comeup with? They should be fired. But then NBC gave us the XFL. Both shows made me want to hurl.

They crossed the line with the children's show. My entire family watched in horror as young boys and girls hurt each other's feelings, were reduced to quivering lips, tears, embarassment. I truly can't believe they aired this show and humiliated the contestants. This type of game show format is not for children!! We will not watch the show any longer as we have lost total respect for the producers.

I enjoy the concept of the show, however I feel that the format could be tweaked just a little bit. My suggestion is that the strongest link in each round be protected from being voted off. This would be especially helpful when it gets down to the last 3 and the weaker players get rid of the "standout performer" of the entire show. NOBODY wants to see that happen and it makes me question whether I'll watch another episode.

That Anne Robinson lady is just a little too rude for my liking.

I think her show needs to be cancelled because I don't like the way she treats components and guests. She's a Judge Judy wannabe.

Anne Robinson rocks! You can see her and the contestants enjoy the sparring and that she's just putting on an act for the cameras. It's all a game, and she comes up with some great one-liners. The format of the show is great with a classy, understated set. I found this show so refreshing because it avoided the usual fake-nice hosts sucking up to pig-ignorant contestants. If they're dumb, she points it out- what a refreshing change to hosts pretending their dumb anwers aren't hilarious.

Ann Robinson is the god of your puns and insult's are getting old. Get some new material. Your contestants are getting better than you are. they are out witting you Ann and leaving you standing there with nothing to say. At this rate, you will soon be reduced to just trying to figure out how to out wit the nearest neighbor. When it comes to a singular wit, I would welcome your challenge and wipe the floor with you.

Featuring one of the wittiest hosts of a Gameshow in a while, Weakest Link is a great show. The questions range from simple to challenging and the people they have on the show are quite diverse. The celebrity editions are also quite cool.

Since the beginning of this show I have enjoyed it immensely. With the exception of the recent celebrity shows. These people are supposedly on the show to earn money for various charities. Instead they spend the majority of their time showing off for the camera, as well as trying to get one up on Anne Robinson. Which is a pity, as it is the charities that suffer for their ludicrous behaviour. Quite frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I tried watching this show a couple times and found it to be mean spirited. I realize that it is just an "act" for Anne Robinson to be the stern insulting quiz person. but geez the contestants are mean. Vote off the best player so the poor players can win. I did not find this show very entertaining. I think I will stick to the classic Jeopardy. I would not want to be on a quiz show where you are voted off. and also made to feel stupid.

One itty-bitty improvement to be suggested---I'm tired of seeing the strongest link always getting voted off, and the total dummies winning. So give the strongest player an immunity. I love this show, though. I like to take a guess at how I would do on this show. One time, in accordance to the number of questions I got right and depending on where I was standing, I would have won! When I turn 18, I'm going to try and get on this show. I luv Anne's little jokes and the merciless way she treats the players. So my comment is: And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson! One of three (modern) tv shows that gets five stars.

i think that ms.robinson does a bang up job at what she does. true, she can be a bit nasty in her own way, but thats her way! some of the contestants, iv'e noticed, can act very childish, and they deserve both barrels when anne dishes it out when she tells them that they are, "the weakest link!"

The most fantastic game show to be on TV. Has the speed which WWTBAM and Surivor lacks, has wit, and has a great format.

If you can't handle Anne's comments then God help you. Having grown up in a British household I can tell you that her comments are not far off from that of my own dear mother. British people might seem harsh .. . but it is all done in fun and love. I find Anne Robinson's dry sense of humour and quick wit wonderful! I'm hooked to this show not only for it's informative nature but for it's humour. Can't handle her comments, well then "you are the weakest link .. . goodbye."

What I like about this show is that it moves quicker. The contestants are from different walks of life(where Who Wants to Be a Millionaire restricts contestants to only six-figure wage earners). I get a kick out of Anne Robinson's sarcasm, even if it is fed to her through a earpiece. I seem to recall the late Paul Lynde of "Hollywood Squares". His punchlines were scripted. The contestants know what they are walking into as much as someone going to see a comedian like Don Rickles. I do not like the Darth Vadar type of set. It's unoriginal

At last - we have a game show that mimics real life! Just like only one person can get a job position, each episode has only one winner, a truth that clearly presents itself here. While many people are turned off to the show by Anne Robinson's sarcasm, I hold the opinion that she is merely acting out the impulses that many of us have while watching game shows. Come on, can anyone here honestly say that they have never called a game show contestant stupid when watching at home on TV? After all, there have been many people on the show who deserved the acidic barbs that Anne launched at them. This show must be what happened when "Survivor" and "Millionaire" had a bizarre love child. An acquired taste, to be sure, but sheer brilliance nonetheless.
