The USFL (which produced Doug Flutie, Machine Gun Kelly, Steve Young and Sam Mills ... among others) was not half as bad as the Jim McMahon/NBC joint creation - The XFL.

Essentially, the XFL was professional football meets World Wrestling Federation and the trailer park.
