my favorite in the "monkey" category.this amazing Gorilla learned a ton of words in sign language.Koko so sweet had a love for cats and was heartbroken when the first cat died. was so gentle to this small cat. loved to watch the documentary on this intelligent gorilla.

I stumbled across a PBS special on Koko on one bored day, and I have to say, Koko is one smart monkey. During the show I watched she painted, befriended small animals, selected a date with another gorilla by browsing through videos, and clearly could say and understand just about anything. My sense is that if Koko had high speed access, she could be a valuable addition to the RateItAll community.

Pretty interesting ape. I think I saw the same program magellan did, and it was more than a little impressive. As to magellan's suggestion that she might make a valuable addition to the RIA community, I say why not. Let's get her high speed access and let her go to it. She's got to be more literate than some of the dumbasses that are on here now, and its already apparent that she's more intelligent.
