It's official. Fall is here. I like the Fall but many people with rakes probably don't. Spring is my favorite season. Fall is my 2nd favorite season. When I was a child, summer was my favorite season because there was no school.I still have vivid memories of the Fall of 1989. It doesn't seem like it's been twenty years since 1989. Time sure does fly.

I love this time of year, it's a little too short for me. It seems like the weather is just right. Not too hot and not too cold.

Over the years i have learnt to love this magical season. When I was a kid, I hated fall the most because it meant going back to school (which I loved in my own way, but hated in another way, lol). Now, I love the beauty of this season (trees are colored in auborn, orange, and yellow shades, weather is slowly cooling down, air develops crisp and freshness). I feel very poetic and nostalgic(but in the good way). In fall time, I feel the most inspired and contempt. It's quite a good feeling.

My favorite time of year. As a kid, I wasn't crazy about it because it meant I had to rake leaves, but as an adult...well, isn't it amazing what a difference a few decades can make? I hate the bitter, hazardous cold of winter, but the crisp chill of fall is invigorating to me. One of my pleasures in life is to drive through the New England countryside during October and just drink in the exquisite beauty, particularly in the Berkshire Mountain region where NY, Connecticut and Massachusetts meet. After seeing such awesome beauty, I'm actually willing to entertain the possibility that there might be a God. It's definitely a restorative to my spirit. The downside of fall is that it means winter is right around the corner, but what can you do? Move to Florida or Arizona, I guess, but fall just isn't the same there. Fall in New England (or parts of upstate NY or even NJ) is one of the beneficial treats of residing in the Northeast.

Fall is my favorite season of the year. The mellowness of the sideways light, with memories as a child of coming in from the cold to the smell of a stew that's been slow cooking all day. Best time to go on vacation - when you don't have kids in school.

My birthday is November 12th, but that's not really why I love fall. Fall is the best season, and it was the season I desperatly missed when i lived in the south, they don't know it, but they don't have fall down there. Their leaves all turn brown, with the exeption of the mountains, you don't have that brilliant array of colors you get in the North. Also, that cool, crisp air, when you need a sweater or a sweatshirt but not really a jacket, and there is a light wind. That is the best. It gives you this refreshing feeling.

I love the moment when fall arrives. I'm not exactly sure when it is, but there are certain things that make me feel like it's finally fall. Is it the first day that's cold enough to merit wearing a jacket? Is is the start of school? Is it the first sound of the drums from the marching band off warming up before the first game of the season? Is it the first vibrant colors of the leaves? I don't know, but I do know that I basically wait during the other seasons for fall to be here again.

Hey, my birthday's November 13th too! Anyway, I love the fall, such beautiful weather and lovely leaves. And I really don't mind going back to school, especially because the very start of school is in the Summer, and that's the worst part about it.

Rates about the same as spring (for different reasons, but principally because the weather is neither too hot nor too cold). Nice crisp days, leaves turn color (here in the Northeast), nice smells in the air, and a respite from summer's heat.

The most underated of seasons, especially if you live on the east coast. The brief period of time during which the leaves decend, becoming multi-hued collections on the streets below. Fall's litter, with a chill breeze. Perfect weather for a couple to go for a stroll. Peace out, dawg!

Not a bad time, starts to cool down but sometimes it can be warm. The leaves turning are pretty.

I agree w/Rebelyell. Fall would definetely be my favorite holiday if there was no school. The color of the trees is astounding, and temps. for the most part are well to live with. Up here right now its about 50 for a high and in the thirties at night. My birthday is also in the fall, November 13th to be exact.

This is probably my favorite season, although all seasons have their advantages. Autumn is great because the weather's extremely pleasant (a nice relief from the summer heat), the trees look great, college football starts, and of course I can't leave out that this is when my birthday is. And that's really the main point. ha
