They don't really do these much anymore-they now find that you NEED your tonsils as part of your immune system.Back in the day,during Nixons first term,they often decided to remove your adnoids,too,just in case!!! Sound barbaric? Just wait awhile and see how bad todays boob jobs and other dumb surgeries look in the future.

its not done too often anymore is it. i never hear about anyone getting them out. it used to be a big thing cuz you got to have lots of ice cream afterwards or so i heard i never did
