appendectomys are probably one of the more common surgeries. I lost my appendix when I had surgery for other problems and they took my appendix while they were at it.{ i hear this is very common to do} at least I will not have to get another surgery  if my appendix had ever flared up. and with todays crummy insurance just as well.

I hated hearing that Hatter had acute appendicitis, I teared up almost immediately. It's definitely good that they did it in a less invasive way (laparascopic) versus actually cutting his chest open (open appendectomy). Funny thing because he thinks he jinxed himself because he was watching 4 episodes of M*A*S*H in a row where they were taking out appendices. Yeah, Hatter's surgery definitely sucked but atleast it was taken out because I'd hate to lose him. I'm glad how well the surgery went. I just didn't need to see the picture of his appendix when the doctor came out and showed me...I was about to go out for lunch. (YUCK!)

I had an appendectomy on Wednesday. They made three small cuts, one on my left side, one in my belly button (wierd), and one between my belly and my privates. I a little sore still but not to bad. It's best to get this done, than leave the appendix in and let it gets worse or expolde.
