It's uncharacteristically generous of the listmaker to refer to it as an ideology.

"Liberal ideologies and gay shortstops are ruining America." At least in the mind of "Ralph."

Funny you should bring up Liberal Ideology... I've had more than one liberal tell me what's so great about being a liberal. They all said the same thing: "Liberals are open-minded." Please tell me you are not that naive. I hate to point this out to you liberals out there, but being anti-Christian/anti-religious is not the same thing as being "open-minded." From where I sit, liberals are as narrow and close-minded as their conservative counterparts. And if you think I'm a fan of conservatism, you haven't been paying attention. Fact is, I'm neither. And I'm sure the hell not a libertarian, which is a fancy-schmancy word for what used to be called anarchists. From where I sit, it seems that the liberal/conservative divide is paralleling the same differences in our Greco/Roman culture. The liberals are the Greeks: lovers of knowledge, art, music, etc. The conservatives seem to favor the Roman culture: military, religion, order (their order). Funny thing is, I grew up liberal. My parents... Read more

The bottom line is that we have a very distorted sense of politics in this country, certainly distorted from what it has always been about historically speaking--it has elevated things like race, gender and other social issues into one of the central and defining issues of American life, while ignoring other more fundamental economic concerns that affect all people, irrespective of race or creed. Of course, identity politics is actually one of the oldest divide and conquer tactics out there, and it has been effectively used to divide the lower and middle classes against each other, while financiers and other elite interests gain a captive hold on the nation's government and its economy. As such, the whole political order, both left and right, are completely divorced from reality. This type of environment usually augers the breakdown of economies and nations. What has happened is that class and economic interests are no longer a key analytic category when discussing politics. Th... Read more

Do we need more proof? Someone, anyone tell me. The USA received its first (perfect) credit rating in 1917. Day before yesterday it was downgraded for the first time since...yet some of you want to give this FOUR stars??? What is that, a little insurance policy lest your RIA brethren think you less than..um..er..."open minded"? Give me a break. The ideology of the liberal- which should rightfully be called the leftist; though they have chosen for themselves the moniker of "progressives"- is that all faith and power should be placed in a central government. This is the same as the ideologies of Hitler, Stalin and Mao, to name just three examples; yet stupid people are incapable of learning from history, so we continue to repeat the mistakes of the past. That an all powerful central government is or should be an all things to all people provider and problem solver is contrary to the United States Constitution. This is, in essence, the liberal ideology. While its infringements on individu... Read more

They would say that what you know as America is best 'destroyed', as it was racist thievery to begin with. I say there's not enough of a difference for you schlubs to be at odds to begin with.
