FAVOR MOVIE EVER LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

It is so good to watch a movie that has a main character trying to make herself a better person.

I'm just a big Reese fan. Her natural cuteness sells this film.

I had hoped to like this movie, but if just had a boring storyline in my opinion. Reese did a good job with what she had to work with, but I'd never recommend this film.

A really pleasantly surprising movie, I enjoyed it even much more than I anticipated! Now I am looking forward to the 2nd Legally Blonde!

I think that 'Legally Blonde' was fluffy, fun and very entertaining. It certainly was a simple plot, but Reese Witherspoon made it work with her dead on performance as Elle Woods. I seriously can't picture any other actress doing this role as well as Reese. Every time she was on screen she lit it up and good thing for the movie and us, that's pretty much every scene. This is obviously her movie and it's an absolute joy watching Elle go through Harvard confronted with prejudice people but still coming out on top. Some complain that it's too fluffy, but it's meant to be. The movie never takes itself seriously and assumes the audience won't as well, but are just there to enjoy it for what it is. It's a feel good movie and a good one at that. :p

This movie is entertaining and adorable. It gives folks a different view of cute,popular, seemingly shallow people. Its funny and modern without being stupid and vulgur.

Comedy wise it was decent, but it was a good movie because of the overall feel good plot. And Reese Witherspoon is the best actress out there right now.

i love reese

Finally! A movie about a girl who's just like me! This movie is so wonderful, Reese Witherspoon is great and there are lots of funny moments. (Can you say bunny outfit?) I'll definatly be watching this one over and over again until I get bored of pink or/and grow up.

I liked it. It was entertaining. Picture the (not so) dumb blonde in college getting dumped right before graduation by her boyfriend because he's too good for her - he's been admitted to Harvard Law. She's out to prove that he's not good enough for her, so guess who else shows up at Harvard Law. Realistic? No! Lighthearted and something to laugh at? Yes! Certainly worth the 3 or 4 bucks for a rental.

All I am going to say here is I have seen better and I have seen worse. In the end, I thought it was rather boring. It was as much law as I thought it would be, and the comedy was kind of see through.

This was a pretty decent movie. Though it was very silly around the edges it still made the point that you can’t judge a book by its cover (or a bimbo by her blondeness). Reese Witherspoon does an excellent job giving the audience a healthy serving of medium sized laughs and a few good zingers and all without the requisite side of cynicism. If you’re in the mood for something similar to “Romy and Michelle” or, as Shroomwoman already pointed out - “Clueless”, you may want to rent “Legally Blonde” the next time you visit your video store.

not worth renting

I really enjoyed this movie. The only part that was lame was when she teaches the women in the salon that stupid pose.

I was expecting to be unimpressed, but I was proven wrong. I agree with Shroomwoman that it was a mindless little comedy. It seemed relatively low budget, almost bordering an a B movie in that it wasn't trying too hard to have completely perfected script and characters, which is the mistake that most big budget movies make. It really didn't remind me of clueless so much as say, Romie and Michelle's High School Reunion (also an incredibly stupid yet fun relative of clueless), because that one plays more on the fact that the two girls (while very fashion conscious) had trouble fitting in. Like Legally Blonde, they have the girls at first trying to be "ballbusting business women in black power suits", but end up throwing out those outfits and the lies they made up to go with them and figure out how much more easier and rewarding it is to be true to yourself. What I also like about Legally Blonde is that the moral messages, about female empowerment and being true to yourself, are clear yet subtle undertones to the comedy itself. They're not melodramatically shoved down your throat like in many other movies with similar themes.

Pretty good movie. Reese Witherspoon plays a college student who gets dumped by her snobby boyfriend.He wants to go to Harvard and study law.She finds a way to enter Harvard so she can follow her ex and get him back. Elle is kind of a fluff and at first does not fit in with the stuck up intellectuals at Harvard but surprises herself and others by actually succeeding at Harvard.If you are willing to just go with the movie and not question the probabilities of the movie this is okay. Reese Witherspoon does a decent job as Elle. Not a great movie but good enough.

As clever,witty and cute as this film did prove to be at times it still seems like a retread of the blonde ditz does good. If John Grisham and Clueless had a love child, Legally Blonde would be it's name. I still think it was better than American Pie 2. Nice to see a comedy that stays away from fart and dick jokes.I thought I was going to hate it, which I did for the first ten or fifteen minutes. But after you suffer it starts to pay off. Witherspoon may not be the best actress on earth but I think she can hold up a movie pretty well. Worth a look. The gay gag in the court room almost made me hypervintalat. Cute stuff that is easy to swallow. Worth a look.

Suprisingly smartly written, and Reese Witherspoon was great! Very funny, and great especially for those that worshiped "Clueless" when it first came out. Legally Blonde brings you back, but is more grown up. Definitely recommended.

"Legally Blonde" is absolutely mindless and ridiculous, and I enjoyed it. Reese Witherspoon is great as Elle, a froufrou college student who decides to follow the boyfriend who dumped her to Harvard Law School. Elle actually enrolls as a student, and the movie follows her as she deals with a series of absurd situations both in and out of the classroom. This movie reminded me a lot of "Clueless." If you can relax and go with the flow, you'll probably get a kick out of "Legally Blonde."

Totally entertaining, a feel good movie for sure. Reese Witherspoon is charming. I really enjoyed it.
