I absolutely LOVE my Honda Rincon...I feel bad for everyone else. :) The Rincon Doesn't necessarily need a low range with it's torque converter. I can crawl up a hill that would make Mountain-Goat nervous; or I can move at about 10 mph comfortably. The Rubicon is a fine machine to be sure - however, the Rincon and the Rubicon weigh the same (600 pounds), and the Rubicon's Engine displacement is only 499 cc's (compared to the Rincon's 650 cc's). Because of its power-to-weight ratio, the Rincon DOES NOT NECESSARILY NEED a low Range, but it would be nice to have one lower gear for pullng an elk out of the back country. The Rincon offers the smoothest ride in the world of ATV's to be sure. A powerful and smooth machine.

The lack of a low range and the inability of the Hondamatic to stop free wheeling is dangerous on steep slopes. Honda claims Sport Oriented as the excuse for the freewheel but its slower then the other quads in its class.

Rincon is my 5th ATV. Get rid of the stock tires and it rocks...use ITP Mudlites. Low gear with a torque converter works well in the mud or the rocks...no low range needed. Helps to add pipe and jets to kick up the HP. Handling cannot be beat by ANY utility quad.

Cub is right it would benefit from a low range. Other than that it couldn't get any better. With low range the Rinny would definiatly be a 5 star ride.

Great looks. Great ride. Great power. Love mine. To the one that says the Rincon over heats try cleaning out the rad, all liquid cooled engines that get a dirty rad will over heat. Mine has never over heated on me.

Nice machine. Great ride and handeling. Poor ground clearance for an independent rear suspension bike. Needs a better cooling system as some of them like to run high tempretures. Good power, but it vibrates from idle to low speeds. Could benifit from a low range very much.

This atv provides the smoothest ride out of all the big bore atv's in this class! 800+ miles on mine so far without any troubles to speak of! Love it!
