I have a 05 sportsman 700 efi. This machine goes through everything. I find it hard to get stuck as it rips through snow and mud like nothing. I'm happy with the power, but the damn thing spends more time in the shop then what I get to ride (2 exhaust mounts from melting, not enough clearence between the front gaurd tore apart my c.v. boot, blew a drive belt) Ive only had it for 3.5 months (850 miles). My friends have 700's and 800's and they seam to be similar, blowing belts seam to be a problem aswell as excess heat melting mounts and fenders. There fun yo drive but be prepared to spend some time in the shop

I have two Polaris, the 350sportman and the 500 Sportman. The 350 is great for the Ladies and younger kids. I have had nothing but trouble from the 500- first the recall for the heat shield. Then the linkage needed adjusting. You have to be a monkey to get the nut off the oil pan- I have not owned other ATV's but I am going to look hard at getting a different brand next time

Polaris atvs are junk all around. They are always in my shop and berely perform when compared to yamaha or honda.

I have a 2003 Sportsman 600 carb model. I brought it back after they (the dealer) said there was a recall on the jets for ATV's bought in the northern states. This was done and they replaced a main drive shaft (clunking) even though I was past the replacment date. I just paid for labor. I have many hrs on mine as it's used daily on a farm for hauling etc. Runs great!!

It is the best. I was asked if i had a clutch kit or pipes on my stock bike because of the way it hooked up and performed.

Polaris 700 EFI has awsome power. I had the 2002 with carb, and the differece is unreal. Plenty of power. I ride here in Calif. in an area known as StoneyFord Off Road Vehicle Park. Some of the stepest hills I've ever been on. Some of the hills are over two miles long as steep as most sand dunes I've been on. My 700 flys up in 2 wheel drive no problems at all. The main advantage is my friend who has a 660 raptor has no problems either, but he is a lot more tired at the end of the day than I am. The Polaris suspension is so far better for rough riding than the Raptor. Granted, if you race on a moto X track or something to that nature the Raptor has the advantage. But I wouldn't trade my Polaris 700 EFI for another ATV. I can go any where I want as fast or a slow. Also it works great my my 4 weeks of deer hunting.

I have a sportsman 500 H.O. and it definetly will out preform all my buddies. Its got the acceleration and the top speed on all of them. After my friends Honda there is still no comparison to the comfort and smooth ride the all round idependent suspension has to offer. I am proud to be and owner of a polaris.

The Sportsman 700 is the best riding atv I have ever been on, and I plan on buying a Sportsman 400 for the wife.

Great quad. I have a 2004 700 twin EFI. Its decently fast for a utility, and it crawls through anything. I've had it in about a foot of snow and even bigger drifts. Only thing is its so damn heavy. Other than that the EFI make sit snappy and so smooth. Its liek riding a snowmobile wiht a few more bumps and a litle slower.
