Scummy indeed, but basically a run-of-the-mill sociopathic murderer. Interesting only in terms of the sickening publicity his case generated and the sociological implications of his acquittal. Still, if you're going to rate murderers, he does qualify as one of the scummier examples around. He killed the mother of his children and a young man who had absolutely nothing to do with him, in cold blood, with great brutality, and nonchalantly continues to play golf and pathetically protest his innocence, all these years later, his dreams seemingly untroubled by the copious amounts of blood he spilled and the lives he snuffed out. I hope his kids are in therapy; they definitely will need it. He's probably more bothered by the fact that he's considered a pariah now by the entertainment industry than he is about his crimes, or what he's done to his children, or the destruction he's wrought. He's more a sick insect than he is a human being.

Come on now people. Leave the man alone. He was found not guilty by a jury of his peers in a court of law, and that means that he is innocent under the eyes of the legal establishment. At least that was the case until a civil court found him guilty of the wrongful deaths of two people. Now, the term wrongful death can mean either a suicide, a preventable accident, or a homicide. Nicole and Ron didn't bludgeon and decapitate themselves, and it didn't happen by accident, so that leaves homicide. So he WAS found guilty of murders. So how does the law in this country work again?
