11/05/2005 | Yeah this guy was a nutter. I heard he liked to gouge out the eyes of his victims and, well, have his way with the new orifice. Or he would disembowel them and stuff their body cavity with dirt.
He played the squirrel right to the end, claiming his breasts were lactating during his trial. At least he got what was coming to him. I'm sure he wasn't treated too pleasantly in custody and after his well-deserved execution his family would have been billed for the bullet in his head in true Russian fashion.
I can only give him four stars as surely it was only the inept Russian police that allowed this monster to prey for so long.

12/07/2003 |  When it comes to sadistic cruelty, Andrei Chikatilo(1936-1994) definetly is one of the worst killers ever. He horrifically tortured his poor 50+ victims,(kids and young females) biting, mutilating and sexually assaulting them, when they were still alive. He wasn't the first Soviet serial killer, but first to create such a mayhem and public outcry. Without the archaich Soviet investigative methods and some bad luck, he would've been caught earlier. It's peculiar, that such an extreme psychopath,(Dr. Bukhanovsky labelled him as a necrosadist) started to kill when he was over forty. Chikatilo was also quite intelligent man, a former schoolteacher with several university degrees,(One of his favorite books was Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment) wife and two children. Another notorious murderer John W. Gacy, who was executed less than three months after Chikatilo, painted a portrait of him. Sadly after Chikatilo's death, his hometown Rostov-on-Don has attested about half-dozen serial killers.
