OMG, The rules they have at the pool area is like being inside of a prison. They constantly watch to see what you're doing.

I was told I cant sit on the ledge of a pool, no reason given.

My daughter was told she can't use her lifejacket even though the rules on the sign said she could, I even read it to the lifeguard and she was too retarded to get it.

Then one of them came up to my niece and asked her if she wanted to take a test swim, even though she was not alone.

Then they have a rule where you have to be within ARMS REACH at ALL TIMES. How can anyone play catch with their child if they can't be more than 2 feet away from you?

There is too many cardio machines that will never be filled; and not enough strength equipment. There is also no music playing overhead. The employees don't know the rules they are enforcing and the management is horribly poor.

This YMCA is located in Prior Lake, MN. Do not waste your money on going there. It is not a family friendly place as they say they are. It's like a politician saying one thing and doing another.

The YMCA is the most UN-Christian place to try and stay healthy. As a matter of fact, run in the opposite direction if you EVER see a Y. They are a waste of good membership fees and a real pain in the backside to deal with. The class leaders are rude, crude, and generally not fit to be presented in public. They should, instead, be locked in a cage far far away from the public where they can be dealt with appropriately. DO NOT USE THE YMCA!!! NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!! RUN!!! RUN AWAY!!! Don't get me started on the customer service! What customer service? Didn't you know you're just lucky that those nice Christian folks decided to bother to open their doors? Sure, you pay a fee but that doesn't entitle you to any sort of good treatment. Consider it a TITHE to the glorious Y and their oh-so-holy (-er than thou) members.
