 | VirileVagabond (32) 08/05/2007 | For (obviously) short distances, walking is the best transportation choice if weather and health allow. It goes without saying that pedestrians are increasing their heath and keeping the environment cleaner. This applies to outside or indoors (i.e. eschewing the elevator for the stairs). Living in Atlanta, I really would prefer a combination of mass subway transit with walking, but alas the area is not dense enough to support such a system.

 | DumbBlondeCowgirl (23) 04/12/2006 | I love to walk. I am more often than not...walking somewhere. I have a car, but walking is just so convenient. You need no gas, and if you have any time to kill, it is very healthy and rewarding to get out and get the fresh air.
