 | BlueOctober (1) 07/20/2008 | Grapes are okay, but definately not my favorite fruit to eat. I really like them frozen, though.

 | Kairho (11) 10/08/2005 | Bite sized!
That's actually not as flip a comment as it seems ... the handy size (along with the great taste) makes them convenience food.

 | texasyankee (21) 04/19/2005 | Ok normally grapes would get a 5 from me but where I am at my grocery stores sell them and they are always yucky. I am talking year-round, and when they look decent, it ends up being ones with seeds!

 | defbean (5) 12/22/2004 | I really like the green ones and can usually eat a whole bag. However, they go bad really quickly and the whole idea of eating fruit that turns to vinegar later on is pretty nauseating.

 | bibliophile (10) 09/29/2004 | I guess that depends on the type of grape. I like Concord grapes but I think I'm in the minority. Otherwise, grapes are just so-so. One thing in their favor is they are easy to eat.

 | Seraph (8) 09/28/2004 | I don't know why grapes are so popular. I hate the way they taste. And can you really trust a fruit that becomes a RAISIN?

 | rainer21 (0) 08/08/2004 | Grapes are certainly some of the most unique fruit out there. Coming in a wide variety of colors and flavors, from purple to green, sweet to sour, there's something for everyone. While refreshingly juicy, there's still body to it. Not to mention it's a great finger food and a healthy snack for kids and adults alike. I'll always love my grapes.

 | Koniro (0) 09/27/2003 | With a very wide variety to choose from, these low-in-calorie, high-in-taste fruits are delicious. Whether it is of the green, red or black variety, all taste delicious. Their crisp crunch upon the initial bite is excellently refreshing, while the fresh flavor of the juices and the flesh of the fruit is a definite treat. One of my favorite fruits...

 | StanUzbeck (14) 09/23/2003 | Grapes are awesome. They're also super fun to eat, being bite-sized and all. Try this though, put a bunch of grapes in the freezer for a few hours - frozen grapes are suuuuuper good, really refreshing and the freezing makes them taste even sweeter (some chemical reaction or whatever). They lose a star, however, for sometimes having seeds in them which taste pretty revolting when you crunch into them.

 | dynovision (0) 09/19/2003 | -The narcotic, tropical sweet smell and taste of dark purple grapes! A taste of passion fruit and muscat -wow, nostalgia! I never knew purple grapes to have these flavors. Mmmmm.
Red grapes, green grapes...step aside. I'm spoken for.

 | JimmyInAtlanta (0) 06/30/2003 | It's so cool to hit up the supermarket, farmer's market, or the guy on the street for those green, seedless grapes that are firm, crunchy, and extra-sweet! I love 'em, love 'em, LOVE 'EM! Love grape soda, grape juice, grape jelly, and wine - I guess I love GRAPES!

 | snlgirl (0) 06/23/2003 | I loooove grapes, but I only gave them a 4 because they go bad really quickly, and there are always many grapes in the bunch that are already bad even when you first buy them.

 | lukskywlkr. (3) 11/02/2002 | My favorite fruit because you can pull them right off and eat them without adding a single thing, and there is no peeling or preparing to be done.

 | Jason1972 (3) 10/24/2002 | I like the green ones (better known as the white seedless kind). The red ones are okay, but the green ones have that sweet and tart combination to it that makes it good.

 | princessangry (2) 12/05/2001 | ahh, the succelant grape...the soft green or purple color, the squishiness when you sueeze it between your fingers, the sweet juice that gushes out of the smooth textured outer skin stuff, the kinda-rangy-sweetness that the fantastiuc friut leaves in your mouth and it smoothly trickels down your throat! ahh grapes are so good!!!

 | The Waffler (1) 11/02/2001 | It depends on the type of grape. Green ones are adequate at best, they are just too tart. But Red/Purple grapes are delicious and sweet. "Artificial" grape flavorings (such as grape soda, etc.) are inferior to the real thing.

 | Frank15 (0) 09/10/2001 | Grapes are so easy to just eat an entire bunch in one sitting without even realizing you ate them all! Just one by one by one down your throat... these things are pretty darn good! Purple grapes are the best, but red and white are also quite good. They taste pretty watery, and if you've ever peeled a grape, the actual inside is pretty bizarre looking... but they taste nice and sweet.

 | Snoopy (3) 09/10/2001 | Grapes are all right. I like them when I'm in the mood for something sweet and crunchy.

 | MedgarEvers (14) 09/10/2001 | I haven't always found grapes to be amazing. I guess they're just a "regular" fruit to me, like apples, unlike cherries and nectarines. But I've learned to appreciate grapes more now. My grandparents have a farm with white and red grapes with seeds every summer- they can be sooo sweet. Store-bought red grapes can be spectacular. I've never cared for green grapes as much, however.

 | abichara (60) 09/10/2001 | Grapes are a great fruit, especially when you get them extra crunchy. When the grapes are past ripe, they can be kind of mushy and they may have lost their sweet taste. When green grapes are too ripe, they may be too sour; I like it that way, but not everybody does. Grapes are best eaten when frozen for about 3 hours; the fruit almost tastes creamy as you eat the grapes frozen. Chile usually produces really good grapes which are avilable at U.S. markets from February to March.
