Yay! People go flying down the mountain trying not to fall off of rediculously thin strips of metal, plastic, and carbon fiber strapped to their boots. Very entertaining to watch. Hopefully no one loses an edge (stopping once you're down is not pretty).

Alpine skiers are ridiculous atheletes. Watching those guys go downhill at those speeds is amazing, and makes for great television.
