This movie had a really good story line. It sends out such a positive message to young people. It sends the message that it is not the body which determines a person's beauty, it is the level of their goodness. If it wern't for the pre-marital sex scenes, and the crude scenes and cursing, this movie could have been a Christian movie. It had such a wonderful ending.

More depth than you would expect from a movie like this, and the crude humor was kept to a decent low. Not at all believable, but it's an okay way to blow a couple of hours. Gwyneth Paltrow was good.

It was fair. Not so sure I liked the cast and acting, but it did have a decent storyline.

Quite funny, but with a weird message. I'm sure that the main message was that you should love someone for their internal beauty, but with all the fat jokes it made it difficult to see them having any sympathy for these people we are supposed to view inner beauty from. I guess that is how it is in the real world, we all know we are supposed to look at inner beauty, but we can't help but notice what is not beautiful on the outside. I did like that they ended up together.

I rented this thinking it would be so-so. I actually ended up liking this movie. Hal is a guy who only looks at women for how they look. He wants a 10 and they are way out of his league. He meets Tony Robbins the motivational speaker and they get stuck in an elevator. Tony sort of "hypnotises Hal into only seeing a womens inner beauty. now he sees women as beautiful {when they are not all that physically beautiful} he meets Rosemary a very nice lady who he sees as thin and beautiful. She is really 300 pounds . at one point he has a friend who gets him unhypnotised but Hal finds in the end what true love is and liking someone for their inner beauty is more important. It has some funny scenes. A better movie than I thought it would be. Jack Black, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jason Alexander were all good in their roles.
