You can never go wrong if Jesus is your role model. Even if you are an unbeliever.

So cool that George Lucas borrowed extensively from Jesus' playbook when he came up with the Jedi...

The greatest role model ever known to anybody. I thank God for my salvation. Salvation is free for the asking. All we have to do is accept.

No doubt that Jesus is the ultimate role model. No greater man walked on the earth; no greater God ever existed.

Role model? That's all? Why, He's the Lord of my life, and the reason I live!!

He is more than my role model, he is my Lord and Savior. One cannot even come close to being like Jesus Christ. We can only hope that we can live our lives in his shadow. And oh, Skizero, I can only hope that you one day find the love of Jesus Christ ~ because it is a wonderful thing!

. . .too bad many of his followers are fearful, judgemental, and stay willfully ignorant- shocking irony considering the teachings of this prophet.

He's an inspiration to those who are nice people who live good lives and still a lot of sh*t happens to them and you look at murderers and rapists etc and think how come nutin bad seems to happen to these people and then you think about the Son of God who lived a perfect life and still got tortured and crucified and thats wen you realise things cant be that bad and gain strength from the fact of what Jesus went thro'.

For those that choose to follow, the greatest role model of all. But honestly, he is much more than a role model, but I'll go along with it just for the sake of the list.

The only person to live a perfect life. Surely the best role model to follow?

Christ was not only a role model, he was the role model. Taught others the way to happiness. Showed nothing but love and compassion. But most of all, paid the ultimate price! Died to save all of mankind. Would Jimmy Carter die for mankind?

Pretty good glove in the outfield, a tad slow, respectable bat without much power. You'd be better of modelling yourself on his brothers Felipe or Matty. Ohhhhhhh.. you meant the other Jesus, not the youngest Alou brother. Well, he's alright, but I think with the stigmata and all he might have trouble hitting a major league curveball.

Seemed like a decent guy, sure enough. A bit difficult to emulate as a role model though, given that I can't walk on water, cure lepers, raise the dead etc

Regardless of one's opinion of Christianity, there is no doubt that he has served a role model for so many. A deep and profound faith in Christ has helped so many overcome adversity and hard times. I'll admit that I'm not really up to speed on the details of biblical teachings, but I have to take issue with ralph's analysis. How one can question the teachings of the New Testament and subsequently use its contents to villify Jesus Christ is beyond me.

I am not a religious person, but anyone who calls Jesus a lying bozo is the lying bozo in my opinion. Perhaps Jesus' teachings have been distorted over the years, but one thing I know for certain: he was not a liar. Anyone who calls him a bozo is sick; there's nothing funny about being tortured to death. The person who made this comment is not near as smart as he thinks he is and just needs to cease his idiotic rants on subjects he knows nothing or little about. Since this person seems to be as full of hot air as the Goodyear Blimp, I doubt that this will happen.
