Lychee is okay. I don't care for the taste too much though. I'll eat them in a smoothie and that's about it.

Delicious, but kind of hard to get, and a lot of debris to get rid of when you're done.

I had to google it -- its a tropical fruit from China, question that answers yer question. Do note that I DONT feel "right" rating something I have never had... this is a damn trap.

I used to eat these really slowly as a child so I could savour the flavour. They don't appear in the supermarkets much now. They're ok in tins, but too syruppy.

Basically Lychees are seeds from an oriental tree, but it can be consumed as a fruit if you peel the outer layer and eat the soft covering surrounding the seed. It can be sour but really sweet and tangy as well. The seed gets in the way though.

I especially recommend the lychee juice!
