    I've been with State Farm for over 15 years and Carl Mixon and his office staff are a horrible representation for State Farm. Calls go unreturned, questions unanswered, and attitudes that imply my patronage is very inconvenient for them. I'm in the process of purchasing a home and needed to get quotes for two different locations I was looking at. I had all the necessary information in order for them to give me a good estimate of what my premiums would look like. It took four calls to finally get someone to actually speak with me. Then she was too busy to run any numbers for me but she'd be sure to call me back before the end of the day or at the latest the next morning. Three business days later, and two calls later, I finally got some quotes - using incorrect coverage amounts which meant the quotes were pretty useless.     We've had very many issues with State Farm agent Carl Mixon though not necessarily with State Farm as service in the past was exceptional when we lived outside the New Orleans area. After hurricane Rita my wife & I tried to resolve our claim in a professional & timely manner to no avail as we had friends & family with other State Farm agents getting claims resolved in a timely manner. It was obvious to us that Mr. Mixon was more concerned with the personal issues & claims of family between September/Novemer 2005 than those of State Farm Policy holders. My wife & I took Mr. Mixon character into question when he told us in an office setting that he was going to use the insurance from a family member's claim for personal use. We did not believe this was appropiate to speak about with clients of State Farm. We called State Farm to research what we initially believed to be unethical.
