 | excelsior30 (8) 10/02/2005 | In 1994, a show aired that was popular but lasted just 3 seasons on FOX. The reason? The writers initially wanted it to be suited for adults and could not put it for children any longer. But then...
He has returned to the airwaves! Thank heavens I get to see him again weekends at 11:30 on ABC Family. Though we have aged a bit he hasn't lost much. He is quite silly, heavy and muscular that I wish to be him. Everytime the stories ends and Tick makes such last words, I sometimes collapse.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (38) 06/17/2005 | Without a doubt, this series is home to some of television's best one-liners of all-time. Part of FOX Kids during the era of Spider-Man, X-Men, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, this was another gem from that golden age of Saturday Morning (AND afternoon!) animation! A spoof and parody of superheroes, this cartoon went over-the-top without taking any prisoners! THe villains were goofy and the Tick loves to give these long speeches which always end up being hilarious. The other superheroes in The City are hilarious too--a Wonder Woman spoof who's no symbol for feminism, American Maid; a parody of Batman and even a parody of the Punisher who wonders why his Mommy didn't love him. One more thing, Honk if you love justice!!!

 | Dibrini (0) 10/15/2003 | Funny show, but the humor semed to be a little over the top for Saturday morning viewers who werent college or high school age It was very Rocky and Bullwinkle-esque in that regard. The obvious ripoffs on Batman and Wonder Woman were very funny.

 | kaputs (0) 04/02/2003 | The best and sadly, most underrated cartoon.
Satire second only to the Simpsons.
Nigh invulnerable, indeed!
Such a sad fate for our humble superhero.

 | Texx (0) 11/29/2001 | SPOON!!! The funiest cartoon I've ever seen. The tick manipulated the conventions of traditional super heroes and delivered some of the best satire and slapstick on telivision. best villians ever!
