WOW, I cant believe lots of the consumers here love the original bar of lever 2000, i tried there aloe way back, and it dried my hands out,so today at august 2005, im here to say i finally bought the lever 2000 energize with vitamins A, B5, AND E, AND Ginseng. I washed my face with it and happy to inform you all that my complexion feels smoother with this energize bar, i havent tried it on my body yet, but i presume its great, it did well for my face, this bar is turquoise in color and smells like a fruity floral, not strong in scent but mellow scent!! i will rewrite this preview on the energize bar later to see how it works for me in this summer heat!! Folks, i GAURANTEE YOU you will like this bar soap of lever 2000, if you dont like the new original lever 2000 (the moisture care one),...then this bar is the one!! I LOVE THIS BAR of lever 2000 energize with ginseng!! TRY IT!!! YOULL BE CONVINCED!!!! I did and Im SOLD ON THIS ENERGIZE BAR ITS PERFECT!!!!! I also love that turquoise color bar, the lather on this bar is great!!!! ***UPDATE SEPTEMBER 4TH 2005** I tried there energize body wash which is a bluish/turquoise in color, clear, its wonderful lathers highly well, softens skin, and cleans gently without overdrying, I highly recommend this Energize body wash...my 8 yr old son Loves this body wash and used it faithfully and left me what's little left!! THE BODY WASH IS #1 AND THE Energize bar also!!!!!

I used to Love the original antibacterial Lever Soap the new Moisture Response is the worst soap I have ever bought. I hate the new scents of the new Lever and they melt away so fast. I have actually went back to another soap I use'd to use. I'm hopeing they will bring back the Original Lever 2000 antibactrial soap again that was the best soap around.

I had a very bad, all over contact dermetitis a few of years ago, and my doctor recommened me using Lever 2000 Anti Bacteria soap. I have photos to proved it too. I have not used anything else, since. It helped clear up my break outs and it is so soft and lathers up real well. I have recommened it everyone I know. I used to use nothing buy Dove and I don't want to use anything else buy Lever 2000 Anti Bacteria soap. I wish they would bring it back. I have been to Ebay and everywhere else looking for it. Why would they take such a great product off the market. Why not leave a great product alone. Confused. Not only that, I started breaking out again when I had to start using a different soap. I found Dial anti bacterial, but the more you use it, the more it dries your skin and then you itch constantly. Whew, confrused.

I like the smell of the Aloe HYDRATE, smells kinda like watermelon gum when dry, but it just leaves you smelling clean and fresh. Doesn't dry out your skin either.

Why did you change a good thing...bring back the Anti-Bacterial Lever 2000 soap

I have been a Lever 2000 user since it first hit the market. However I purchased some Lever 2000 fresh aloe HYDRATE and the odor is deplorable. I am returning it to the store!

5 star rating on the ORIGINAL Lever 2000 body wash. The new scents are horrible. The original was a great body wash with a nice clean smell. Bring back the original!

Best soap on the market. Good for sensitive skin and you feel like you took a shower without feeling dried out. Price is rather low as well

This rating is for the antibacterial version. I usually use only antibacterial soaps because I find them more effective since I exercise regularly. Tie with Dial and Safeguard as my favorite. I am mystified by the bad reviews of this soap. Maybe Unilever is selling different formulations in certain parts of the country.

I would LOVE to have the original Lever 2000 scent back. The new ones are HORRIBLE and strong. I miss that first scent and no longer buy this brand because of the changed scents. I rate the original scent a 5star, yet i dont even want to give the new Lever a half.

I HATE all the new Lever soaps. The scents are overpowering and the bars almost melt in the shower. The original formula was the only soap I found that dealt effectively with breakouts. I loved it, but now it seems to be gone. Can anyone recommend a soap similar to the Original Lever? It certainly isn't any of the new formulas.

The new formulation of Lever 2000 is HORRIBLE. Bring back the old version! It was the perfect bath soap. If I'd have known that Unilever would reformulate and ruin it all, I would have stocked up MORE.

the blue bar leaves me smelling nice and fresh. the green bar makes me itch.

When Lever 2000 first came out, I loved it and bought a whole cabinet full of the soap. I am about to run out so I tried the new scents. UGH! Unless someone can tell me where to purchase the original scent, I will have to find another brand of bar soap.

noscents: The new Lever scents are terrible. The original lever was wonderful 5 star rating and they had one that seemed the same to begin with. Now it has disappeared. Please bring back the original Lever 200.

Wow I thought I was the only one who noticed the change. The new Lever is awful. I bought it not noticing it was different. Did they stop making the original? If so I need a new brand of soap. My five stars is for the original only.

my five star rating is for lever original only. It was my all time favorite soap. I tried the new lever soaps but couldn't get past the strange unpleasant fragrance. I searched all my local stores and found lever original at Rite-Aid - thank goodness!

The Lever 2000 Moisture Response is horrible on the skin. Besides the horrible smell, it itches and causes breakouts. I used the original Lever 2000 since it came out and it was the best soap ever!!!!! Please, please bring it back!!!! It's the only thing that works for my skin. I actually have two bars left of the original (after trying the new one I went out and scoffed up every last one of the originals) My husband can't even tolerate this new Lever soap and he can usually use anything. Whoever is in marketing you would make a fortune if you brought back the original. I'll never understand why people try to fix something that isn't broke. This soap is not selling, everytime I'm in the stores I check to see if someone has come to their senses and brought back the original, and all I see is shelves stocked with it, putting it on sale every week isn't even working. Please bring back the original and please tell everyone why you changed it to begin with!!!!!

One of the best soaps on the market. Has a nice, but not overpowerful smell. Lathers up and cleans well.

This site is good..... BUT WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL LEVEL 2000 SOAP.... The other's stink.....the original is so much better..... I WANT OUR SOAP BACK ON THE MARKET.....

The new Lever 2000 Moisture Response is awful. The scents are to strong. The only type I buy for my family is the antibacterial. I think they should change back to the old scents.

The ORIGINAL lever 2000 is excellent and I am basing my 5 star rating on that soap only. The moisture response and the antibacterial soap is a horror. The original lever 2000 is the only soap that my entire family can use without itching, or breaking out. Please put it back on the market.

love the antibacterial, but the fragrence is to strong in the moisurising, my husband can't use it because he sneezes the entire time he's in the shower. Bad choice if you have allergys

Lever 2000 the original was the greatest. The moisture response is horrible. It stinks and makes my whole family itch. Bring back the original.

The old Lever 2000 was much better. The new with Moisture Response has a totally different fragrance - perfumy. Bring back the REAL orginial!

I agree rkay!!!!! I want the original Lever 2000 scent back! they ruined the soap when they changed it to Moisture Response. I much preferred the original scent to this!

I am giving Lever 2000 original soap a five rating. Why was it discontinued? The moisture response, the antibacterial, aloe vera, and perfectly fresh is crap. BRING BACK LEVER ORIGINAL!

Good lather. Smells clean. Works pretty good. I conducted experiment with 4 different brands bars of soap. This left barely any residue on towel when I dried my hands on towel.

The original Lever 2000 soap would have gotten five stars (six in my opinion) but Unilever, the company that makes Lever 2000 soap changed the original soap, starting February 2002, to a new version called "Moisture Response". BIG MISTAKE!!! I'm not sure why they would change a great thing, but the perfume scent is definitely different and stronger, and one of the appeals for me was always the mild aspect of Lever 2000. The new product is worthless in my opinion.

Inexpensive, moisturizing, Good scent. What more is tere to to say about a good bar of soap? I think these two ladies have it covered.

I remember in business school, we were learning about market positioning and how you tend to emphasize the characteristics that you think matter to people that your product has. Usually you pick one ("smells great" "kills germs", etc) but Lever 2000 is one that does it all: anti-bacterial, good-smellin', won't dry you out, reasonably priced. I've been a Lever man ever since.

I have dry skin and live at a high altitude, and I think Lever 2000 is the best bar soap I've tried. It has a creamy lather and a nice scent (not too strong). I always buy the "original" Lever 2000, which is a white bar soap. I've tried lots of liquid soaps, and Lever 2000 can compete with the best of them. It's a lot less expensive than liquid soaps, which is a plus. I highly recommend Lever 2000 if you're in the market for a new bar soap.
