Brilliant! Three great albums - intelligent pop music that seems to have so many levels (and not all of them obvious). Don't understand the lyrics? That's okay, there so many things in life that I don't really understand, but I still enjoy them. One of them is The Shins - worth five stars. Recommended song and album: "New Slang" and "Shutes Too Narrow".

They're an amazing band, with a unique sound and killer lyrics. Especially their second CD Chutes too Narrow. I would recommend them to just about anyone.

I like just about every song this band has ever put out. They don't sound like anybody else and their lyrics are smart as hell. I think they're from some wacky place like New Mexico? Goes to show you, perfect music can come from anywhere. I will finally see the Shins live this week - can't wait.
