(And that's the students' problem- professors 'profess' and a student must learn accordingly.) Classes could be great or terrible- that is, I found it to be an appropriate training for the workplace because there are good days and bad days and I have to adapt accordingly.

Sticking to the textbook many times is just boring and useless because in many subjects, particularly in the liberal arts and even business, it is not just simply about learning the material, it is about developing critical thinking and communication skills. A bad professor is one that just sits in front of the class lecturing without allowing students to challenge assumptions and think issues through. What's the point of going to class after all? Of course, class is a great place to meet girls in a comfortable environment as well!
