Although the Z series cars were popular and did do a lot for the Japanese sports cars as a whole, the car is a pretender. It just can't go up against the serious competition. Match a TT 300Z against a TT Supra... No contest.

A truly great total package car. I've owned 2 generations of RX-7's prior to my Z and I also own a 94 Supra currently. While the handling of my 93 7 was awesome and the power of the Supra was great, the Z brought the two together in a great combination. While other cars are superior at one or two particular traints, the Z excels at many, which is more important to me.

I've always loved the feel and appearance of all the nissan Z cars.

The 90+ Nissan 300ZX set the standards for the sport cars, handling, performance and looks are great!

One of the best looking cars in its class. Sleek and fast. Excellent and legendary history. Came into its one the moment it came off the factory floor. Give up very little to the Supra in termas of some speed and handleing but looks way better in its design and execution. The Supra loks plain compared to this car. Sure its a little faster but, plain non-the-less. Looking forward to next years version which should further blur the line between great looks (the Z) and bland plainess (the Supra)!

Only those who have owned one know -- these cars were amazing (90 - 96 model years). Very fast, GREAT interior with everything placed in the perfect spot, nice handling, reliable, etc.

The Z, while a great car for it's time, has not done well to keep up with the times. If this were 1991, and not 2001, it would get a better rating.

The Z is the absolute greatest sports car. It provides all of the neccesary elements for what a sports car should be. It has beauty and grace, but also power and aggressiveness.

How the heck did this make it to the top? This series is an absolute joke compared to cars such as the Mclaren F1 and the Ferrari 550 Maranello. The people that rate these cars have absolutely no knowledge of what a sports car is. I am still bewildered at there being 2 Saturns and the Chrysler Sebring even on this list.

I LOVE THE DESIGN OF THE 300ZX FROM 1990-96. THE CAR STILL TURNS HEADS. I OWN A 94 300ZX AND PEOPLE STILL ASK ME IS THAT A 2000 MODEL.

Wouldn't own another car over my Z. Alot of power, very comfortable, excellent handling and timeless good looks. Can't go wrong with it in my book.

ummm good excuse for a sports car, its slow, not good looking, draws little attention, unreliable, market value is dropping rapidly, ect.

For the money, it doesn't get much better than the Z32. Today you can have a fine example of a Twinturbo model for $15,000. Show me a sports car with as much features and performance as the Z, with daily driver characteristics and reliability. I thought so, there is no other, long live the Z.

Upon its introduction in 1969/70, the 240Z was a car that offered incredible styling, performance, and reliability... three traits unheard of at that time for any car at any price. The tradition of offering incredibly balanced cars continued up until the demise of the Z32 in 1996. As a proud owner of a '90 Nissan 300ZX TwinTurbo, it is truely apparent that this car shines in every imaginable category. Some may outclass it in certain areas, but as a whole package, Nissan got everything right.

Just bought a used one last Summer, other than regular maintenance items and a few repairs, car was exceptionally clean. No complaints. But you need to be a doityourselfer, in order to keep car running top notch (like any car). Car exudes "Top Dog" attitude everywhere it goes.

I love all Z's. I own an 86Turbo, and it is the best car i've owned. It is also the cheapest to upgrade. I've only spent $25.00 on upgrades and got about 30 more HP and am 3 secs faster in the 1/4 mile. LONG LIVE THE Z

I own a 90 TT 300zx. By far the most enjoyable car I have ever owned/driven. Awesome power, comfortable ride ... and the slickest car on the street.

I have a TwinTurbo Nissan and I love driving it. After some mores mods in the spring I will wanna drive it all day, I am sure after helping my friend make his hit 470hp 2 years back. It is the best all around 2-seater for the buck. If you know how to maintain a sports car then turbos should be a non issue. If not then get a vette.

The Z car is a legend in auto sports. I really can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but I love my Z cars, both my 1975 280Z and my 1993 300ZX Twin Turbo...I wouldn't trade for anything!

lame car

I've had my z32 300zx since December of 1999, and there's not a day that goes by where I am not thankful for the car I own. The car is 11 years old, and turns head's more than anything short of a viper. It has timeless goood looks, with an unbelievably comfortable, luxurious interior. The car is reliable, treat it right, and it will be problem free. Be warned, don't let the mod bug hit you, or you'll soon be spending all your $$ on upgrades and body enhancements.

The Z series has always been unmatched in styling and peformance. They are amazing cars with clean looking interiors, interesting electronics, and astounding performance that just waits to be unleashed.

The 1990+ 300zxTwinturbo is the Pioneer of Japanese Super Sports car History ...This is the Sports car that started it all and this car still is the best in LOOKz/ Speed / Handling / Reliablity /Price ... what more can anyone need .. I own a 1990 300ZX TT and I love it and plan top keep iot forever ... GREATEST SPORTS CAR EVER MADE .... The SUPRA TT COMES 2nd to me because it came out 3 years later Toyota in every way had it's chance to refine and modify each and every thing that the Z lacked in but for that came a $10,000 + price tag ..... The Zcar has left it's mark, and will continue to be a great car|s for a very long time. The last model, 300ZX was one of the greatest cars of all time. 6 years running it got Best Car of the Year, and please note this was for every year it was being sold. The late 300ZX set the standard for the Japanese Sports cars coming to america. We saw other companies build cars with more hp, better handling, etc, etc, but it started with the Z32. Secondly, Nissan set the standard with the 240Z... it established a name for itself, and broke records(then of course). The Z lineage started great, ended great, and will hopefully return... the latest rumor a 3.5 Liter Z.. 240-300hp... I CAN'T WAIT.

No other mass production car has a TIMELESS styling and look as the 90+ 300ZX. The (90+) Z also has a beautiful symmetrical mechanical design - from the air filter to intake to engine to exhaust, it is all left-right symmetric. Not to mention all other well-known goodies.

Hope new Nissan Z car will be as good as 90+ 300zx is.

Only true affordable, decent handling, decent power series of sports cars. Each major change brought unique qualities to the car - final design was a supercar.

All of the z cars where a success,however the only problem the can be found on some of them price may be to high.but even if the price is high you wont find another car in its catagory the gives you as much as z cars for youre money. DID I MENTION THEY ARE THE FUNNEST CARS TO DRIVE!

Absolutely the best sports car ever!!

I have a 1980 280zx 10th Annenversry Eddtion and its the best car I have ever owned. I think the Z series are the best cars for the money.
