ItemImageMillipede was released by Atari in 1982 as a followup to the very popular game Centipede. Millipede was a very similar game in most respects but offered the player more enemies and a new weapon: DDT.

Although a good game-many of my friends considered it a ripoff of centipede!

An improvement over Centipede, which was (is) a fun game too. These games are modifications of the basic "Space Invaders" idea. Galaxian, Galaga, Centipede---each one is a little different and all are great fun.
