I think that Fantasia has upset so many people because they are jealous a, bunch of green eyed monsters out there that don't have anything better to do but hate on this cute, pretty, sweet and talented black girl. I know that most of this is coming from white people because once again we are dominating the competition and they cant stand it, but like it are not you did Tamyra Gray in but it's all over now. Black people are everything that white people wish that they could be but can't. Please kill this ghetto stuff what is ghetto, tell me the definition. The biggest problem that I have with the world is why say anything if you dont like the girl just leace her alone. You are purpously trying to hurt her and that's not right.

I hail from High Point, North Carolina. I can't beleive all the haters out there. Show me a perfect person on this earth? No man is perfect. In fact to slander Fantasia is to say that we have no role models for people to follow!! People look to the wrong things to look up to. Be yourself. Teach your children to dare to be different, not like someone-else. That is where the problem lies. Fantasia is FANTASTIC!! No one will ever take that away, and despite how some may feel, they only can dream to be where she is. She may be a 19 year old single mother, but guess what? SHE IS PAID!!!!!!

I hope she wins, so that two years from now we can see her on the E! True Hollywood Story. No one knew she was a crack head, singing for her next rock. I would watch that show.

Fantasia Barrino is the BEST American Idol ever! She had a dream and finally achevied it! She is just trying to make a life for her daughter. She will always be my favorite!

Fantasia is the best american idol they have ever had. If anybody appreciates great singers like Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin, etc. (and from what I've read some of you don't) you would definitely appreciate Fantasia. When she sung I Believe, she brought me too absolute tears. I am also a single mom, and I can absolutely relate to her. From what I see she is a wonderful person who is trying to make the best life for her, her daughter, and her family. I think she will go all the way to the top.

There was no questino in my mind that she would win. I love Diana, but Fantasia's been so hyped up the entire competition, she almost had it from the start.

She's the bomb!!!! I love her! She sings better than any other singer ever! I knew she would win! She's the best!!

It doesn't surprise me at all that Fantasia won this contest. She was over-hyped from the get-go. The judges made Diana feel second rate for several weeks now and it showed in her performance. What is truly sad is that if Diana had won, she probably would have felt guilty for doing so, and you can bet that Fantasia doesn't feel a tiny bit guilty...

Fantasia is an overratered, cocky, ugly ass, donald duck sounding, to young to have a baby ho, and she can't even talk plain. If it wasnt for the damn hypin her up she wouldnt have made the top 12.

The Competition is American IDOL. What do you think an IDOL is? Its someone people look up to. I would NEVER look up to Fantasia. She is way to over rated and should only be singing in church. Her voice is fake and annoying. She is way to full of herself.

Fantasia sounds pretty good when she stays soft. When she goes to her upper register, it makes me wish I had earplugs. Fortunately I have my remote, so there's less ear damage. I can't imagine hearing that donald duck voice on the radio. Yeah, yeah, yeahhhhhhhhh *LOL*

Here's my opinion on Fantasia. She is going to win tonight, although I think she sucks! I don't like diana that well either, it sounds like to me when diana sings, she sounds out of breathe most of the time when she sings. Although, I hope she beats Fantasia, which i think is impossible. Fantasia's voice gets on my nerves. Yes, she can sing, but her voice is awefull. I am not going to judge fantasia on having a baby at her age and not being married, because this is a singing competition and not a rolemodel competition. But, however, fantasia does have a bad attitude, and thinks that she is all that. I mean, you see her when she is on stage, you can tell for sure that she is trying to win. She is getting the odience hyped up and she sang summertime last night because she knew everyone liked her performance with that song. She is, to me, being fake and it irratates the crap out of me. She is always crying, she is throwing a pit party. I can't stand people like that, i know to many of them. AB.

She's got a beautiful face that could lure anyone, but she is highly overrated as far as talent goes.

Fantasia has talent & personality and because this competition is based primarily on talent, many should take off their little judgmental capes & crowns and stop judging her based on her single parental status. This competition is called American Idol, and not American Role Model.

I think she is great. Most comments of those calling her bad, are frankly irrelevant (for examply cocky, ugly, has a baby, goes to church or not, and so on). She is really in a different league compared to the others who are unexceptional and plain boring. She is the only one I would want to buy a CD from Actually, it is the only performer I am curious about every Tuesday. The others are just trying to make a clean imitation, no charisma or persona.

What are you talking about sweetjazzy? Jasmine seemed sweet, but frankly it was her time to go 2 or 3 weeks ago because she didn't perform as well as a few of the others and certainly not as well as the final two.

Jasmine, is a really great person. Not only Hawaii loves her but the whole of America, they just feel its her time to go, she has already proven herself. I usually watch American Idol with my kids, and its amazing how they really cheer for Jasmine she has a very strong appeal with the kids, and they remember her songs like Mr. Melody last tuesday, my kids keeps singing them all day. Critiques might not like her but its not them who would be buying her CDs. America just let her go since they don't want to hear all these negative comments anymore about her, people could be very hurtful sometimes, and she does not deserve that or everyone else. All these girls are doing all their best just to put up a good show, we could at least repay them with kind words.

Okay, you know what? I find her ANNOYING! but i am NOT taking anything away from her, because she has had more succes than millions of people will ever have, but I think other people deserve to win (cough, diana, cough) I mena, Fantasia is alrite, but I don't get what all the hype about her is!

I am not an American Idol fan. In fact, even as I write this I can honestly say I've never sat through an entire episode. But as I was flipping around last night looking for the Heat-Pacers game I got distracted by Fantasia. This chick can sing. I think she was singing Change, Change, Change when I flipped to Fox and I couldn't bring myself to change the channel til the end of the song.

Fantasia has been on the top of my list since the beginning of the season. She's unique. I believe she feels the music down deep in her soul (an old soul for 19) and that shows through in all of her performances. She is quirky and will not appeal to all but I do feel she's the strongest performer of the bunch and will have the most lasting appeal. I love watching her perform - she brings a level of excitement to the stage that none of the others have and it has everything to do with energy from within. The two other singers that make up the final three could edge her out - because voting has been so unpredictable - but I don't think they deserve the win. I REALLY hope something is done about the voting next season. They should go back to charging for the phone calls to eliminate the fanatics who will actually give up two hours of their lives to dial repeatedly for the likes of John Stevens. La Toya certainly didn't deserve to be eliminated from the competition last week - she has a beautiful voice - but my choice still would have been Fantasia.

You don't deserve to be american idol.American idol is someone that little girls can look up to and want to be like. yeah you can sing but you are 19 with a baby and no husband. isn't this country trying to discourage teens from having sex before marriage!?

I agree she is really annoying and not plasing to the eye. I do not know what people see in her that they chose her over La Toya. She should have gone home last week, I was really furious, and what was that she was talking about that she was a winner, gosh she should hear herself. LA TOYA is the bomb.

Yeah Fantasia's voice is killer!!! After a few minutes listening to her your ear drums would be bursting out, you eyeballs would be popping out...her voice really hurts...can't stand it!!!!! Most of all she is butt ugly!!!!

Is still in the competition but i think she could get cut in suprise. The last of the 3-Killer Voices. Fantasia, Jennifer, and La Toya London was the 3 favorites by the judge at the begining of the top 10 (not 12)!!! Has great voice range but she is one huge gimmick, people plz tell me if im wrong... almost every up beat and speedy beat song that she decides to sing she always says yeah yeah in the back ground!!! Even on the Season 3 Soul CLassics CD she does it in her rendition of Chain of Fools.

Fantasia has been consistent throughout this whole competion. Her voice is powerful. She has all the qualities needed to become the most sucessful singer AMERICAN IDOL has ever seen. Put your prejudices aside and listen to her magical voice. She is the real deal...Wake up America...it's about who is the best singer in the contest...Degarmo and Jasmine are just not on the same level as Fantasia. Wake up People stop lying to yourself!!!!

Fantasia is very exciting to watch. Me she has alot of talent to offer. Compared to the others, she has the energy, voice, and seems to come from the heart what she does on stage.

My favorite from the beginning, and the most talented of the three remaining. All three finalists are charming enough, but Fantasia has a voice and stage presence that rises to another level. I'm not one to get caught up in reality show competitions, but I am hopeful her star continues to shine.

She's absolutely amazing. Kind of a Mary J. Blige sort of voice. She'd better win this competition. Lord knows she's the only one left who deserves to.

The first time I saw FANTASIA winning the semis,I knew she would be the biggest winner on AI3...the stage presence,projection,attitude,and the way she connects with her audience..she's a bomb..not even popular mainstream superstars can match her capability to move someone thru her song..versatile as well...this girl is the reason why i rush to my TV during airtime of A13..i am totally blown away by FANTASIA BARRINO..I just hope she won't be a victim of those horrible judgement by these stupid voters..this girl is one hell of a legend in the making...

I can't believe there are idiots out there who have rated Fantasia only one miserable star. Please go dig all that wax out of your ears and register for a music appreciation course at your nearest community college. It's one thing to say you do not prefer her but quite another to denigrate her single-mother status, or stereotype her because she is African-American, or insult everybody else's intelligence by foisting a ridiculous opinion on her. First off, if she wasn't star material she wouldn't have made it this far despite the fact that the demographic that appreciates her aren't the same frantic teenagers voting for other contestants. Second, she isn't just another R&B singer - please listen to her renditions of Summertime and What are you doing the Rest of your life - she has got a real and special talent.

She has a very good voice one of the strongest of the 12 finalists. I say give her a chance to show her personality since the audience does not know her very well yet. UPDATE: I would give her closer to a 5. We have already lost two of the better singers on American Idol and it is scary to think Fantasia has come close twice. She has one of the best voices, she especially has this talent for interpreting a song which is hard. she puts some real emotion in her singing. something for only 19. America has been voting so odd this year. picking popular over who has a great voice. It was awful to see Latoya taken off this week.I hope Fantasia makes it to the end.

Fantasia encompasses everything an American Idol should be. She has a spectacular voice, magnetic stage presence, sparkling personality which makes her able to connect with the audience in the theatre and at home, and she has that special something that makes her outshine all of the competition! She's got it all and a great musical career to look forward to!!!!

I hav been a fan of fantasia's every since the beginning and i will be a fan of hers until the end of her career because she has made me feel every song, every word, every movement. she has got it all and i love her for inspiring me because i hope that it turn out just like her when i get on American Idol!!!!!!!!

She has the best performance of all the contestants. She has a great voice and she does NOT sound like Macy Gray. Every singer has a trademark, so yeah yeah yeah all you want Fantasia. She is simply the BEST of the competition this year. We are looking for the total package and she has it, great voice, personality, stage presence, etc. Gotta love her!

What is very special about her is how she feels every song she sings and how she makes everyone who listens feel the same emotions. She makes every song in a unique Fantasia's way. The more I listen to her the more I love it. Amazingly gifted and original! Looking forward to hearing more of her in the years to come.

At first I wasn't too sure about Fantasia: she was too ghetto, but over the weeks she has slightly polished her image. As far as her singing, she is fantastic and definitely a star! If she doesn't win, she will get a recording contract, I'm sure.

UGLY

I can't see very many people wanting to play a cd of this woman. Talk about an irritating sound! Going barefoot on stage was a little gross, also. She is totally the opposite of everything LaToya is. It's like good sister, bad sister. LaToya is beautiful, mellow and sophisticated. Fantasia is .....Arrrrrgh!

She's a phony, obnoxious, unlikeable snake who would step over anyone to win.

She's like a cross between Macy Gray and Whitney Houston.

I would have given her five if it hadn't been for all her freaky extensive piercings.

Fantasia is a true talent. She gets me opening mouth with astonishment. We haven't had a singer with such a talent for sometime. She has this quirky character on top. Makes me want to see more and more of her. All those people who says she's fake, you must be fake yourselves for not being able to fathom a true talent. I want to be the first to buy her first album.

I find it appalling that someone of Fantasia's caliber may be judged on her parental status. I think she is absolutely one of the best performers in American Idol to date and the best in this season. I truly hope that people don't vote against her just because they feel that being a single parent is not good enough. Nobody knows what the future holds and being single/married/divorced etc is not something one can foresee!!

She's horrible she has an attitude and i heard that she kept her daughter in a trailer for 2 days and left her without any food or water but im not sure if it is true. Back to the point she should be the next 2 get kicked off and either george latoya or diana should win!!!

This girl can sing in tune. That's it. Terrible sounding vocal quality. It's like fingernails on a chalkbaord.Too much vibrato. Looks terrible. Terrible attitude. Annoying in every way. And what kind of Idol is she when she has a kid with no father. That does not send a good message to America's kids.
