didn't watch it, didn't hate it though
myspace-17490481 04/29/2008
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Just look at him... ridiculous.
trebon1038 04/11/2008
I watched it some but it wasn't a favorite.
~?Samantha?~ 04/11/2008
Can't beat Mr. T
irishgit 04/10/2008
I pity the fool that likes this crap. Having said that, it was so awful it was somewhat entertaining. Amazing how many rounds these guys could fire from automatic weapons at point blank range without hitting an opponent.
Spike65 04/09/2008
Never were so many bullets fired and explosions set off without a single person getting killed. George Peppard must have been really broke to take that part. The kids liked it.
CanadaSucks 01/18/2008
No one died. . .pure 80's fluff- I guess the romantic memories of this show are based on warm childhood nostalgia, but I just can't stand it. ..
mjhmurphy 01/18/2008
Action without killing. Good 80s stuff.
GenghisTheHun 12/19/2007
I loved the characters and the running gags such as always doping BJ up before an airplane flight, breaking the one guy out of the nut house each time, the plan coming together and the others. What lowered the show was all that firepower and no body count! You really have to suspend your level of disbelief to buy into that.
scoothamilton 12/19/2007
Let's Face it, this was the best 80s show. Watch it now and it's almost cringe-worthy, but I'm rating on how I used to feel about it. I love it when a plan comes together.
Jamie McBain 08/12/2007
The show was over top, and there was never a dull moment, that's what made it fun to watch.
dazedandconfus ed2 06/16/2007
TV For The Simple Minded. The Worst Show Ever. Story Lines Were Horrible. The Acting Was Even Worse. Gun Fights And Explosions Every Show And No One Ever Got Killed Or Hit By A Bullet! This Was A #1 When It Was On In Prime Time. Gimme A Break!
twansalem 05/06/2007
This is a great show. I only vaguely remember it from my childhood, but I've watched the reruns more recently and it's awesome. So the plotlines aren't complicated, and the characters aren't that deep, but who cares. The jokes are funny, and there's a lot of action. The catchprases were great too, with lines like: "I love it when a plan comes together," and "You crazy fool!"
powerstech 05/05/2007
I can't wait for the Movie to come out.. oh yea and people will die in the movie...
CheckmateDD 04/11/2007
Pure unadulterated escapeism. Mr. T was a bit over the top. Enjoyed watching sleaze balls get humiliated. It really trailed off after a couple of years.
Avenrii 10/13/2006
A great series, though built on character cliches. The ending series began to decline, but everything before was simple yet great. My only dislike of the A-Team is the overplaying of Mr. T, who was not a great actor, nor was he so hilarious. The other characters had much more substance and depth.
X Factor Z 03/17/2006
Really, actually fun to watch, much like "The Dukes of Hazzards" because it was corny nostalgic fun, especially Mr. T. Please do not ressurect this show and give "Face" a sex change operation, please!!!
rjy 07/20/2005
This was a great show untill the last season when they added Frankie and Stockwell to the cast and started to work for the goverment.
CapAnson 09/03/2004
Oh I loved the A-team.. watched every single episode.. nowadays I would find it rather cheesy.. like the scenes where a car crashes.. and the camera pans back to it..just to let you know the bad guys didn't actually die...but I think it inspired McGyver.. since they always had to build some gadget to defeat the evil guy (which they would do in the auto garage they would be conveniently locked in usually). Trivia: Name the only episode anyone ever got shot in.. and who got shot..
numbah16tdhaha 08/20/2004
Yes! A solid cast of nutballs, armed to the teeth and wielding crazy contraptions, all for the little guy that needs help.
ANSGARD 06/08/2004
one of my favourite :-) I loved Mardock and Face..... these series were fantastic
Jemiculus 04/24/2004
Sure, it seemed a bit improbable that all these guys firing machine guns couldn't hit the side of a barn, but this was the quintessential 80s action comedy. There was one episode that featured guest stars Boy George and Hulk Hogan, where we learned that Do you really wanna hurt me? is one of B.A.'s favorite songs. Seeing Mr. T, Hulk Hogan, and Boy George on the screen at the same time was the most 1980s moment ever--somehow at that moment everything about that decade seemed logical--deep down, the most well-known manic tough guys of the 80s were closet Culture Club fans and probably owned a stash of CDs from all of the most effeminate British bands of the era.
melott 02/17/2004
Despite being the most inaccurate shooters in the world, 1,000,000 rounds fired, no casualties, it was a great action show.
Babaracus1983 02/05/2004
THE BEST ACTION SHOW OF THE 80'S. ORIGINAL.GREAT CHARACTERS.I saw the reruns 10 years ago and i loved the show ever since.Having every episode on tape.Sure, noboby hardly gets shot or killed, there was enough killings on other shows of the day. (my theory):the a-team were fugitves wanted by military police and other law enforcement. why make it worse by killing people. It says alot about The A-Team. They didn't have to kill or shoot the bad guys to Get their point across. The shot their way out of situations and used other methods to get the bad guys.(their fists, wit, brains, and humor.
kolby1973 01/14/2004
The A-Team was really fun in a cheesy sort of way the first season, after that it kinda went down hill...I wouldn't mind watching reruns of this show one more time...
larry_biz 01/13/2004
Blow up everything!
brianjoseph 11/13/2003
Great show..liked the ones with Robert Vaugh...not true not no one ever gets shot...Murdock save George P. life by jumping in front of a bullet and gets shot in the shoulder. There is also a dream George P. has when they are in prison on that island where someone gets shot. Anyway I watch this everyday on CH 56 here in L.A. There just doesn't seem to be anything like it on TV today....I have to laugh at parents that did'nt want their kids watching this. It is a little violent but it's the bad guys getting beat up and no one gets shot! (well almost never). I also like how the team stick together and care about each other.
brian joseph 08/21/2003
Good show..used to watch it everyday here in L.A. on Ch 56..now it's only on Friday they show it.
Jenny Drury 08/12/2003
Pretty lame.
c546106 08/04/2003
Pretty lame. Not something I ever went out of my way to watch, and if nothing else was on, I turned off the TV.
kahfess 07/11/2003
My Son loved this show, as did my Mother. I, on the other hand, thought it so-so. It pretty much was always the same.
MeatLamp 06/03/2003
Let's cut the jibba jabba and give the A-Team a rating of 5, fool!
j_motta2000 03/05/2003
My parents wouldn't let me watch it, they claim it was to violent. When I did catch it in re-runs I found that although there is alot of violence, not one person EVER gets shot.
max steal 03/04/2003
its amazing
Sharon3802 02/27/2003
My favorite part of this show is when Murdock would get on B.A.'s nerves! I used to like to watch them build weapons out of whatever was available to them at the time.
lukskywlkr. 11/01/2002
The first few episodes were okay, but then it didn't take long for them to run out of ideas and it started to sink.
The Pod Squad 06/27/2002
The best action show of the 80's! All the characters were great. Has some good comedy bits too. You have to take it for what it is, and be able to enjoy it purely for that. If you analyze it too much your missing the whole point of this great show.
zerocool 05/01/2002
The A-Team is still the best 2day aye am buyin all the dvds of them b.a is my fav so listen sucka you go near my ride aye will kill you.
finlore 01/30/2002
I'd love to see reruns of this show! It was strictly a live cartoon, meant entirely for entertainment. George Peppard is great to watch, no matter what he's in. And how can you help but enjoy an intimidating character like Mr. T who's terrified to fly?
Texx 11/15/2001
Your telling me that after catching these guys that many times that ol' Col. Numbinthehead couldn't figure out not to lock them up with welding equipment and a car/tractor frame? I'm all for campy fun but this show made Adam West's Batman look like Shakespeare. The Supreme Court defines pornography as "utterly lacking any educational or social value". The A-team should have been called the XXX-team.
stooge 11/07/2001
This show could only be enjoyed if you ignored all the absurdities and looked for the laughs. Mr. T, with all that jewelry, fixing broke down cars with no tools or parts. Nobody ever gets hurt and at the end they shoot about a thousand rounds of amunition, but nobody gets hit. Then for no reason, the bad guys throw down their guns and give up. But, if you can overlook the lame plots, there are some laughs along the way.
kissmerichard 11/03/2001
My dad made me sit and watch this a couple weeks back and I didn't want to at first, but it's really very funny. It's the kind of show that makes fun of itself. Those can often be the best.
lexqmurdock 09/14/2001
It's probably one of the silliest shows ever created, but you just gotta love de foo'! Vote Murdock for president and... I want some trashbags!
MedgarEvers 06/28/2001
I love it! When I was about 9 years old, I watched this show religiously on FX. The characters are interesting and the stories are always repetitively great. George always got to smoke a cigar in the end with his leather gloves, Face didn't do much but we always did get to meet another old girlfriend of his, Murdock always got a chance to show off his imaginary dog and fly a plane, and Mr. T. got to beat someone up. I remember when they once made a cannon out of an old water heater.
callmetootie 04/04/2001
The A-Team is currently rerunning on TV land mornings. It is a pretty funky show, a piece of nostalgic entertainment. It is kind of silly, I mean the name Mr. T came out of nowhere. It's an amusing series, and lots of kids like Arnold Jackson liked it.
Teaseress 01/31/2001
I absolutely loved The A Team when I was younger. It used to be a family favorite, I wish a TV channel in the UK would show it again. Top stuff!
San Antonio Rose 01/12/2001
I love it when a plan comes together! Mr. T has long been a hero of mine. And the team consistently showed the old principle of Might for Right, never killed anyone, and always acted with honor and dignity even when unjustly pursued by the military. Besides all that, the humor they used was incomparable, and the actors were superb and had a great working relationship. I pity the fool who has never seen this show!
SamIAm 12/29/2000
I never liked this show. Even as a kid, the lack of acting ability was evident. Maybe if I was in to action/slapstick, I would have enjoyed it. However, Mr. T. has always scared me..it simply amazes me that he was paid to act. A-Team was the best venue for his "talent" though..the wacky dude with too much muscle (which apparently overtook his ability to think and speak in clear sentences), overwhelmed with tacky jewelry and a strange concept of a hip hair-do. To me, the A-Team was the same thing every week..bad TV.
