This is a really popular hat. Very nice.

I'll sometimes wear one out in the sun and/or if I'm going to be doing really grubby work, usually with my hair pulled through the hole in the back. Also, as Faldara has mentioned, they're good for bad hair days.

maybe practical if you`re actually playing baseball but if worn backwards out of North America be prepared for much chortling behind your back. Possibly more ludicrous than wearing sunglasses at a nightclub. Just look at Vanilla Ice.....

A functional hat that's pretty handy. Personally, I dislike the new style with the adjustable tab in back so that one size fits all. I also think that when the US military adopted the baseball-style cap for some years, it was the most un-military looking headgear I ever saw (or was forced to wear).

Best thing in the world on bad hair days - at least for those of us who care about bad hair days.

Baseball caps are a good way to keep the sun out of your eyes when doing anything outdoors. Good way to protect your head from the elements and support your favorite team at the same time.

The ubiquitous American baseball cap is one of the few items of headwear that looks good on almost anyone.. both male and female. Even looks ok worn backwards on some people. Only time it looks foolish is when it's worn with the bill cocked sideways.. gangsta rapper style.

I wear one when I coach, when I do yard work, when I walk the dog, when I do renovation work on the house, pretty much everywhere but at work, and I've done it there too on occasion. Functional and practical.

As far as hats go, this is my favorite for myself to wear. I tend to wear a baseball cap at least 5 days out of the week. My hair gets really curly and hard to deal with most of the time, so I just put the hat on out of laziness...a good hat. It also usually looks cute on other guys as well.

Basic and functional. I usually wear one when I'm hiking or climbing to keep the sun off my face.

Love the cap. Great when your playing baseball, and great for supporting your sports team or anything else for that matter. What always bugged me though were the guys who play pickup basketball wearing a baseball cap. It's nothing but a distraction for the player. Hit their cap off and steal the ball, it's the best defense.
