e.e. cummings 4

eecummings was more than just a playfully innovative, arty intellectual who did away with some of the usual punctuation,he also had an appealing touch of the romantic in him. "(i do not know what it is about you that closes/and opens;only something in me understands/the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)/nobody,not even the rain, has such small hands."(from "somewhere i have never travelled"). "lady through whose profound and fragile lips/the sweet small clumsy feet of April came/into the ragged meadow of my soul."(from "if i have made,my lady, intricate). I also like "the little horse is newly born" very much.
